A tourist passport takes about four weeks to process. Please apply in advance (up to six months prior to your current passport expiration date). All routine U.S. citizen services are by appointment only.

Report and Replace Lost/Stolen Passport (DS-64 & DS-11)

Sign up for the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (https://mytravel.state.gov/s/step) to receive real time updates. By registering, you also ensure the Consulate is able to reach you in the event of an emergency like a natural disaster or family emergency.

Fee payments are valid for 12 months from the date of payment.
Third parties are generally not permitted to attend the nonimmigrant visa interview. However, you may be accompanied by an additional person if: you are a minor child under the age of 17, you are aged 70 years or older or require special assistance, you do not speak Moroccan Arabic, French, or English. In all cases, the accompanying party must present identification.
Interviews are conducted in French, Moroccan Arabic, and English. You are responsible for bringing an interpreter if you require assistance in another language.
