日常英語では touchscreen（1語） がいちばん自然。スマートフォン・タブレット・券売機など、画面に触れて操作できるものは a touchscreen と言います。touch panel でも意味は伝わるかもしれませんが、やや技術文書寄りで不自然に聞こえやすいと思います。
⚠️発音の落とし穴⚠️：panel /ˈpænəl/ は æ（cat の母音）や語尾の l が日本語話者には難しく、通じにくくなる可能性があります。
というわけで、「このデバイスは“タッチパネル”式です」は自然な英語では
The device has a touchscreen.
You can use it by touching the screen.
This device is touchscreen-operated.
が安心です。
🌿「タッチパネル」は日本語で広く使われる和製英語。完全に誤りではないものの、英語では touchscreen と言うのが自然です。
