Part 0-2: A Supplement to Part 0 “A Rational Assessment of the Primary Causes of Perceptual Symptoms”

Summary

After conducting a simplified autonomic nervous system check introduced in an NHK program, I report, as a supplement to Part 0, that according to this testing method my autonomic nervous system does not fall into the “requires caution” category.

It is also noted that, during the measurement, some of the symptoms I experience on a daily basis were observed.

Editorial note (2026-02-08): A summary has been added at the beginning, and section numbers have been assigned to each chapter.

1. Introduction

In Part 0, posted on November 4, 2025, I explained why the various symptoms I perceive are not caused by illness or natural factors, but are instead artificially induced.

In that article, I also touched briefly on the autonomic nervous system.

Coincidentally, on November 20 of the same year, NHK aired an episode of Torisetsu Show that focused on the autonomic nervous system.

“Torisetsu”: explanatory guide

Because the program introduced a simplified version of a diagnostic method used in medical settings, I decided to try the method myself.

2. Check Method

The Check Method Introduced in the NHK Program

The procedure consists of the following steps:

1 Count your pulse for 1 minute while lying down.
2 Stand up and rest for 1 minute.
3 Count your pulse for 1 minute while standing.
4 Calculate the difference between the standing and lying pulse counts.

According to the program,
if the pulse rate increases by 30 or more when moving from lying to standing, caution is advised.

3. My Results

It was very difficult for me to measure my pulse accurately, but based on the readings I could obtain, I did not fall into the “caution required” category for this check method.

However, during 2–3 of the measurements taken while lying down,
I experienced a persistent tingling and prickling sensation in the genital area,
an attack I am frequently made to perceive in daily life.

As a result, I was forced to remain tense—both because of the stress of measuring my pulse, and because of the ever-present possibility of suddenly being subjected to a stronger attack.
