A question that needs answering..... [07 Oct 2008|09:06am]

thenegation
Right people,

I woke up this morning with a re-newed want to start up my idea for a book.

SO! If I draw up some questions, would the tattooed among you be prepared to answer a few questions and have some pictures taken of your tattoos? Depending on the success, I may keep this to the London / England based people but we'll see how it goes.

Lemme know if you are up for it or would know people who would be. You can contact me on here, Facebook or Myspace, links provided below.

I need your input: [12 Dec 2007|10:03pm]

I have always wanted full sleeves, since I was 8 years old. I want to eventually have my entire upper body done (the lower body just looks weird). I have even had the designs worked out in my head for over three years. I've recently decided on a style for my lower sleeve area on my left hand, and I'm going to get it. My question to you is: how do you dress? I know that ANY professional job that I get will make me wear long-sleeved blouses and blazers anyway (I want to become a Social Worker), so I might as well enjoy my skin and keep the same clothing choices.

This will not be my first tattoo. I have a HUGE backpiece, and a medium one on my bicep, so this is nothing new to me. And yes, I know that when I'm 60, I will be "stuck" with inked skin, but guess what? When I'm 60, NONE of my skin will look awesome - inked or not. I'd rather go for it than preserve something that's meant to decay regardless.

Any advice? Got yours and regretted it? What's your profession and dress code requirements? Know a kickass place where plus-sized chicks can get business attire? Comment, please!

New tattoo idea!!! [12 Sep 2006|03:27pm]

Hey there peoples!

Just wanted to see if anyone has or knows of people getting Magpies (the bird) tattooed?

Because I have been thinking about getting something on the front of my hips for ages and as everyone is going for guns, I don't want that. Was thinking about two really big roses but already have 5 and then after looking through the most recent issue of Total Tattoo Magazine and saw a picture of what could be two love birds / finches that some one has had Ian Flower tattooed on them i was thinking about getting some birds as not many people have them. After thinking about it for a while, I though of something that can represent something postive and as I am trying to surround myself with postive things (as I can be a little too negative) I would like to have two magpies tattooed on me.

I''m not sure if people know but there is saying that we have over in England and as I only rememeber some of it... here is as much as I can remember. When you see one magpie you have to say "good morning your lordship, how are the wife and children" as seing one magpie is kind of bad luck or "Sorrow" however seeing two together stands for "Joy" and this is something I want and need to bring into my life right about now.

Please let me know of your ideas and if anyone knows o any picutres then please feel free to post them.

Thank you peoples!

Hi everyone! I'm new here, my name is Jenny - I'm from Michigan :) I just recently got my very first tattoo as a 19th birthday present from my friend, I adore it in every sense of the word. It's going to be the start to a collage that will display my love of movies :D

The idea is to start out with pure black and white line art, to move slowly into solid black and white ink, then shaded black and white, then shaded with few colours, eventually going into full coloured tattoos at the other side of my body :) I'd love suggestions to improve on that idea if you have any!

Enough text now, here's the actual tattoo [ and the marker bits are flies that I'm hoping to get added onto it very soon! ]:

That's all for now!

ps! If anyone is interested in having a custom designed tattoo, let me know :) I'm going to school for Graphic Design and would love the challenge to improve my work. Here are some examples of what I can do:

Custom Tattoo Designs [28 Jun 2006|07:11pm]

For starters, my name is Ashley, but everyone calls me Shane. Thought I'd get that out of the way since if you get a design from me the billing information will say Ashley. Figured it would be good to clear that up to avoid confusion.

Basically, my job is to make all your tattoo design ideas come through. You have an idea, even if it's just the smallest one, for some ink? Just bring it to me, and we can work together to make the best piece work for you.

I conduct my business through the internet (ie. instant messenger, email, myspace...etc), and I use a paypal account for the billing.

Pricing all depends on the size, detail, and work time I spend on the piece. We will work out the price during the process, or prior. It's all negotiable.

Feel free to add my journal and contact me anytime.

PS. If this post is not allowed, please let me know and I'll take it down with no problem.

Just a quick question:

I highly doubt it but has anyone ever been to, or heard anything about Tattoo Clinic- Ink by Joe's in South Glens Falls, NY?

For my last tattoo I went to Needlewurks in Saratoga Springs, NY but I don't want to spend the extra money for the gas to get there, someone had suggested I try Ink by Joe's but I also heard some bad things. So I figured I might aswell try and ask if anyone knew anything?
