Who wants to participate in 
skinandseed now that it's no longer summer?
I'm also asking if someone could co-mod or step up as moderator. I've recently moved to another state and started working full-time, so it would be nice to have someone else to help me out. I was disappointed in the lack of participation this summer and I'm hoping it was just a phase.

Um, I guess since we haven't got the winner (or too many submissions actually) the theme is still "Ball(s)"?

Safety Note: We took a lot of shots of these glass balls in the sun and they work just like a magnifying glass in direct light. They will quickly heat up a spot on your hand. So if you try to be careful.

I apologize for those couple months of nothingness. Summer time is such a busy time for everyone! I'm going to present a theme on August 1 if anyone is interested. Maybe since August is still the summertime, I'll set a theme and give two weeks to give people extra time to take pictures. I hope this is okay.

How many of you would still be interested in participating in skinandseed this summer? Should it go on "vacation" until fall? I really apologize for my lack of themes and posts, but the last theme seemed to be a flop, and I had been in the midst of moving/getting an internet connection.
I'd be happy to mod regularly now that I am moved in and have cable internet, but if no one's going to take the bait and post pictures, I don't know if there will be a point this summer. There's over 500 members here and I never see many more than 4-8 submissions. Would people like me to extend the deadlines to every two-three weeks?

Was no one interested in doing the "soon to be famous" theme? I left the theme for a while (I was in the middle of moving from PA to KY) but no one seemed to bite.
