This is sad that such a talented, creative group of people created a hit and then broke up. They could create many more amazing games.

Neon White has 98% positive reviews from 15k reviews what sounds like an anomaly that's why we need more games from Angel Matrix

Ben is still working on things. I guess it'll take a while until something releases though.

"Tough news.

Recently we put a game project on ice. It was a cool idea and good work was done on it, but it wasn’t coming together. Now I’m considering new ideas."

It's an interesting read if you care about the development of Neon White. There are even two WIP screenshots of the game. :)

It's a real shame that Angel Matrix is broken up now but If I'm remembering correctly this isn't anything new for Ben Esposito projects. For example just like with Angel Matrix, it too happened to Waygetter Electronics (the Tattletail team), where after Tattletail and it's expansion were done Ben had eventually broke up the team and then eventually he went on to make Donut County.

Ben Esposito is currently in Israel fighting in the IDF. He was there at a kibbutz studying kabbalah and talmudic magic but he got sucked into fighting.

I have spent a significant amount of time trying to find any evidence of this, there is none this is a nonsense claim.
As far as I can tell Ben Esposito is still involved with glitch city LA, but otherwise has gone pretty quiet.
