I see plenty of people complaining about mission 28 being the worst mission, but IMO, it's mission 15. So much time is spent just trying to catch up to the aircraft and then they'll slow down a bit so you overshoot and then you struggle to speed up enough to catch back up to them. Missiles are also always locking onto non-critical targets instead of the engines so you're not hitting what you need to. When you do hit engines with missiles or guns, they are artificially strengthened so way too many shots are needed to destroy one engine. And there are two of these bombers to kill when one can take so much time. The clouds also make it very difficult to keep your bearings straight and you can easily slam into the ocean if you're not careful. And the missiles they shoot off...even in the ace combat world they are OP. Maybe the HPAA and auto guns will help on my next try, but man this mission has been flying under the radar for too long as being one of the worst in the game. It's just not that fun and way too cheesy with the difficulty.
