I love this mission, just got done replaying it. Why are you/people complaining?

They don't like they can't missile spam Ares / Shadow 22.

If you are trying to get S rank:
- Get a plane with SASMs and buff the crap out of it. Don't forget to get the increased area of effect.
- Down bombers by shooting the frame directly instead of one of the engines (the middle target).
- Kill as many small flyers in passing until you reach the point where the bombers are gone (when the first wave of Savian mercenaries arrive).
- At this point you are racing against the clock to gather at least 145,000 - 150,000 points.
- Try to rearm before the shadows appear. When they do, down them as fast as possible. I believe you should start at 15 minutes. If you can get them with 10 minutes on the clock, the time bonus would shoot you past the S requirement.

Funny enough I got S on Ace before Elite. Mission is enjoyable but F that score requirement.

Edit: One thing I forgot to mention. Try going after F-35s and F-22s inside the ESM zones. They give the most points.

Bring SASMs for the boss fight and have your wingmen fly planes with ESM and if you're trying to S rank it, make at least 150k points.
