did anyone else progression just dissaoear i was pretty far into the story and when i relaunched after uninstalling and waiting about 2 years all of my save game data is missing

Is there nothing I can do to restore it? I had 16+ hours on there trying to 100% it. I don't want to replay through hard and very hard a fourth time. This has happened to me that many times.
