Is full minions viable?
Sorry if it has been asked before, but I would like to know if full minions are viable (no weapons or very little) and what talents should I level up. I have zero idea and just putting points into loot find.

There are a couple of different ways you can build minions! The most important thing to know is that minions scale with your health and damage, which I did so that anyone could find minions useful even if you don’t build straight for them.

There are several perks for minions - Two Bad makes you super tanky by splitting your damage to your gitsfish, Aimraid which makes your aimbots use your current weapon, and one for the turret minions. I think there are more but I honestly can’t remember right now.

Make sure you check out the Unlocks menu - not only can you unlock Turret minions and Sentries (which aren’t exactly minions but are similar - they don’t move but can’t die), but you can also get a pack of new items which affect minions, including the Friend Exploder (sacrifice minion to make a big explosion) and the Antisocial Network (creates lasers between all your minions), as well as an ability which hastes your minions.

Also, consider that any healing weapons have can heal your minions, and all heal items can heal your minions (and coop partners) if you use the Share the Wealth perk.

If you want to direct your minions to attack a specific target, there’s an item for that too.

So you can build pure minions in multiple ways, or partial minions with a gun for yourself. You’ll probably still want to keep a movement item, a heal, and an icebreaker on yourself, but that still leaves you with 6 more slots. And if you’re in multiplayer, you can let a friend hack and you don’t even need the icebreaker.

Have fun!
