Space Hulk Ascension vs. Space Hulk
There is some confusion about what the difference is between SHA and the SH game released last year.

To cut it clear and short:

Space Hulk = a digital boardgame conversion (TBS). Dice rolls, original physical version rules and all

Space Hulk Ascension = a single player video game TBS RPG in the Space Hulk setting

Neither game replaces the other - they complement the Space Hulk experience. Some like one, some like the other and some both.

agree with you but both great games
If you're going to spell it out, you should REALLY spell it out by listing every single difference in detail. Also, what is "TBS"?

Well so is the first Space Hulk so that makes no sense.

Theoretical question for you:

How many people do you think will actually read a document large enough to accomplish this request?

Take a look at my review of Ascension. It's big--about eight good-sized paragraphs with over 1,000 word-count worth of big, in fact. I barely managed to scratch the surface of detailing the differences between the two games, even with that size of effort. Any document with enough detail to satisfy the serious nit-picker would be in the ten-thousand word-count range (novella size, in other words), and only those self-same nit-pickers would bother to read even half of it.
Its a not a GOOD rpg where different characters look like twins or clones. Please do something to remedy that.

Um... they're supposed to look like 'clones'. Each Marine is altered significantly on the deepest genetic levels. They actually grow new organs and their bodies and skeletal systems are modified to a specific series of genetic code. The end result is that they all look like siblings, or like twins.

Besides that, they're in a monastic military order. The armor they wear is their uniform. Which kind of by definition has to look almost identical between individuals.

Ironically, your complaint actually validates the canon. It means that Full Control did the job of creating authentic-looking Space Marines right. >:)
It seems you took "Space Hulk" and developed it further. Iam a bit sad about the fact, i bouhgt the first "Space Hulk". It would be very gently from the developers or publishers to give "Space Hulk-Owners" a big discount, in respect of the critics to the first "Space Hulk".

I looked at the review because I was going to copy/paste the relevant information into this topic for people looking for the differences... but you don't really compare the two games rather you just detail what Ascension is... while making it sound exactly like the first game...
Also it says Blood Angles on their derpy banner instead of Blood Angels.

The point still stands: spelling out all the differences in detail would take a body of work far too large for the average forum-goer or Steam consumer to bother reading, and would require an expenditure of time and effort which many people would prefer be used to focus their energies on the bug-fixes and requested features that most of the people who already bought the game asked for. My example took about 30 minutes to formulate and type, and I did say that I baredly scratched the surface. Now, I'm emphasizing it. That should allow you to estimate accurately how much longer it would take to make what you demanded.

I think Sliver summed it up sufficiently- if you know about the boardgame, then you can usually figure out the differences quite easily for yourself. If you don't know about the boardgame, then you should probably try the RPG-oriented TBS instead of the adaptation because it will seem more familiar in style and functionality.

And frankly speaking? This thread is better suited for people who want to ask questions in order to get further clarification, not to make arbitrary demands of the developer's time, or to argue why making such demands is a bad idea.

They did. If you own the first Space Hulk game and purchase this one, you get an extra discount on top of the current sale price, giving you 25% off the game.

Are you serious? If the dev actually listed the differences like the topic title implied it would, than people wouldn't be asking questions for further clarification! My "arbitrary demands" IS me asking for further clarification! Nothing you say makes any sense!

Um...since when are space marines clones? They all have different looks about them, some are tall, some are shorter, some are broad, some have a noble appearance to them. I have read everything in the Horus Heresy and can tell you that they all don't look alike.
They're (generally) not clones, but they're generally described as looking alike a lot, both in terms of their general "tanshuman apperance", and legion-specific physical traits.

There's variation, to be sure, but the ones that really stand out in terms of stature or appearance are clearly mentioned as just that - the ones that stand out significantly from the fairly uniform masses.

That said, with regard to SH the problem isn't to which degree they are supposed to look alike, it's that for BA and UM, you end up with too few faces to create unique individuals, and that detracts from the RP and personalization aspect

Ideally, we'd have enough face choices to make 10+ unique Terminators, and also the option to assign those wearing helmets a face, that while not showing on the model, would sholw on the unit selection bar and provide that extra bit of individuality and attachment.
