Hey there. We for sure have seen similar reports. I get how inconvenient this can be. People have countless numbers of different configurations for their setups, and even those with the same hardware will have different system and program settings or software that can still affect how certain programs perform. Right now this issue is not present on all set ups but let's see if we can clear this out for you.

1. For the EA app, go to your library --> click on the 3 dots of skate. --> Repair
2. For Steam, go to your library --> right-click on skate.--> Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.

Also try clearing the cache on your EA App (follow these steps).

If that doesn’t work, try the following workaround:

- While the game is loading, click and hold the Steam window (or any other window) to keep it as the active window.

- Maintain the Steam window as active until the white skate logo screen appears

- Launching the EA anticheat.exe in the game folder helped a lot of players.
