yes the story changes each time you do a play through currently on my 3rd run through :)

The game has multiple routes which can only be unlocked after certain other routes are played, but it's not a game with choice and multiple endings. IIRC there's only one choice that really does anything and it just leads to an early bad end.

it has unexpected endings lets leave it in that way...
although dont expect much control because story is linear most of a time.
