no, there is not
the closest we can get is that camera manipulation technique to make it seem like first person but we are permanently in third person.

that being said, camera techniques have issues as well
there are a few and all of them have clipping problems with the head

they also pretty much work exclusively on slow walking alone

if you run the body model takes a different position the camera can not adjust for ( it is just a third person camera shoved closely after all, not a fancy new thing )

so unless you are willing to walk slow everywhere for esthetics, then yes you'll be fine
if you want anything else, they won't work out that way.



the short of it is that fo4 unlike skyrim is not using "true first person"

with that we mean that the game only renders 2 arms and a gun in first person camera and no body.

( they do this for beauty reasons.. in third person a gun at hipheight would be below the camera in first person, making it uesless, so they use a different setup for first person then third person with it's own unique set of animations, and to make it easier since we are using a different system, they only bother to render in arms and a gun, as no body is needed )

there simply is NO body that exists.

with skyrim, the game permanently has a body for your character and culls it out when in first person camera to avoid clipping, it is there but invisible.
with skyrim we can just undo that culling and voila, first person body is now a thing ( and it doesn't even have problems so no clue why they did the culling in the first place )

for fo4... someone would have to make a whole new body with unique animations to support first camera, which just isn't going to happen as it's already a mess to animate anything in this game, let alone an entirely unique with no preexisting things to start from )

so yeah.... you can simulate it, but don't overexpect it

you can selectively extract the "no head" esp and script out of that one to make your head invis on command ( the original mod is no longer up and running but this one still has it in it's archive )

which would fix the clipping issues for having your camera to close

well i'ma leave it here now, as i'm sure there is someone on the internet wondering about first person body cam and one more answer to find won't hurt :)

The only way to see yourself in 1st person is to look in a mirror. What you are asking for is 3rd person. I think it is the shift button to change camera.

Sadly I don't think we will ever see that, same as good phisycs systems like in skyrim

Er... there is in the VR version of Fallout 4.... But you want a 2D version...

there are some alternatives but they all operate the same way

the no head toggle appears to be gone for good now... so clipping is something you'll have to deal with now

If you see your body then it's by definition not first-person perspective...

if you google that name the following link pops up under archived files for that deleted mod, still available for download, which is what Baby_Cookie was referring to. You need to extract specific esp from that download as explained above.
