F4SE and the Unofficial FO4 Patch are both updated now
Most of us will probably also just need the Address Library to be updated and we'll be good to go.

I'm gonna go ahead and bump this because the people complaining still don't seem to want to go look themselves.

Game's playable. go play. If you're using those 'must rely on--' mods, then CHECK THOSE TOO!
Most of them have not been updated.

The best way to go is not to install the update until all f4se mods you use have caught up.

address library.
looks menu.
FallUI.
AAF for those that have it (pretty useless game wise)
and a dozen other mods. It takes months before you can fix the damage.

Best to just wait for months, or you can do it bit by bit and play your GOG 1.10.163.
"another pine forest" is gone? :-ss :meepwow:
F4SE got its update the same day as the patch, only problem is the HighFPS Fix, it lags behind like every time....
Anyone know whether MCM also requires? That was the one thing holding me back last update. I haven't yet allowed it waiting for all of em to catch up.

Not yet...

Judging from the last time, it will be a 2 more weeks.

everything that uses Address Library kinda needs AL, durr... the advantage, individual .dll mod creators don't have to run recompile every flipping update. the downside, now AL is not responsible for 1 mod, but dozens, hundreds, working again.

either don't update, of if you whoopsie'd, depot download back to sanity, it's usually within the week. let a dude get home from his paid job to work on his unpaid job. besides Friday is just 2 more days; as long as the "honey do" list is short this weekend or they're not collectively on vacation? probably will be done by then.

you really got to learn to use MO2 and instancing properly. then it can update the one copy Steam knows about any damn time it wants to, you, you could be running a 1.3 from 2015 with all your mods, then boot into a 1.9, a 1.10, a 1.6, then up to a... you get my point. all it takes is drive space. (though if we're talking 6 versions all modded, all with the same mod downloaded 6x for each version variant, we're talking a 2 to 3 TB Falllout 4 install.)

Yeah kinda figured, thanks.

I'd be shocked if most if not all of the Nexus mods aren't either fixed already OR on their way to be fixed.

Let's not forget some people paid OR donated to the mod creators.

It is a two-way street.

If a mod contains a .dll file then it needs updating after a patch.
If a mod with a .dll file relies upon another mod using a .dll then it needs updating after the required mod updates.

The .dlls use memory allocation slots when the game is running, they need to be updated and sorted out to keep all the allocations in their proper place. In other words the update breaks mod intentionally to prevent your save from becoming a brick.

For example, F4SE uses a .dll and needs updating after a patch.
Then mods like LooksMenu, Place Everywhere, etc that use a .dll file need updating.
Looksmenu is usually the lagger, but the game can run without it.

If people blocked the updates like they are supposed they can keep playing without any issues until all the mods are updated then update their game.

For those that did not block the update...HA HA.
The instructions to block updates has literally been pinned tot he top of these forum for TEN YEARS. Around every upcoming update the online websites like GameRant publish articles telling you how.
High FPS physics is updated now. Still waiting for Address Library. There is a temporary address library on the High FPS Nexus page, but it will only fix mods which don't use Address Library for F4SE. Frankly, I think it is probably better to just wait for Address Library to be updated and any mods which use it than to risk having problems from competing Address Libraries.
Thank you for keeping up on these things Langkard!
