Can't pick up loot from ground
First time play on PC and using an Xbox controller. When I press A to pickup an item sometimes (not always) it just hold the item. I can go for a while no issues then all of a sudden can't pickup anything.

Are you running the game at over 60 fps? Because normally using a keyboard/mouse you'd click the button to pick up and HOLD it to carry. It may be that the controller input isn't going through correctly and thinking that it's a longer press of a key than it really is?

I don't use controllers but I'm sure that someone else with one might have some kind of experience with it, it might be specific to that one, or needing other tweaking. But if you're running the game higher than 60 fps that's the first thing I would do - cap it. If not... >_> *summons someone with controller*
The AI bot I used to help had me max my FPS at 60 so that should not be the issue.
OK persistence pays off...I fixed it. For some reason when I set my max FPS in Radeon it didnt save.

Yeah, what you were describing was a timing issue. Because the FPS sped up the game engine, the game thought you were holding down the button (which lets you pick up and move things around) instead of just tapping it (to put things into your inventory).
Be sure that if your computer is running OneDrive, that needs to be disallowed on any of the games' folders. Like a firewall or virus scanner should whitelist, it does a similar thing, so if you encounter a problem where the game's INI files 'keep' having to rebuild, or your settings refuse to 'take', that is one direction to look at carefully. Hopefully your fix WILL stick!
