best settlement to use scrapall?
looking for a safe settlement to use scrapall - to scrap all my junks at once.

homeplate is a good and small space but i'm using it as home, another enclosed place is vault88 but im not sure how it would respond to scrapall, it's probably a bad idea..

murkwater maybe? or croup manor.. i dont have acces them but i can. any suggestion?

Shroud Manor.
Neon Flats.
That condo.

EDIT:
Oh, you probably want it tied to the supply chain.

mechanist lair is a wonderful idea..

oooh... stop it. U make me blush.

You are rt, tho.
...if I was Wormy.
Scrapall has always been considered risky. "Workshopbudget" is a better command, supposedly. But if you have a scrapping mod it may go scorched earth anyways.
Depending on what other mods you are using you should never use scrap all in an interior cell, given that all the floors and walls stand a very high chance of vanishing.

Coastal Cottage is easily cleaned, Zimonja sometimes has stuff lingering but you can also disable/delete if you really need to in both cases.

Always check your workbench after doing that though because stuff will get dumped in there from safes, bodies, or collectables sitting around.

welcome back ma'am..

I always thought scrapall is safer at interiors, despite had never used it in homeplate or v88 before. But i was gonna use it in Condo, since it seemed quite sensible to me..

what you said is exact the opposite and that made me more curious now, but today's gaming has ended i'll look into it tomorrow.

I'm pretty curious about those missing walls tbh ;)

isn't workshopbudget = scrapall already? isn't it just an Alias? but gives a short report after?
If you use Scrap Everything like I do, trust me:

... EVERYTHING MEANS EVERYTHING.

Vault 88 is hysterical if you do it there.

Like. Walls. Cavern sides. Floors. Water, pillars, EVERYTHING.

Slip into the Void.

If you don't use that, or use a more modest one that takes those things into account, obviously that's a different monster and different advice. But really- everything in some cases really, really does mean 'everything'.
If we're talking mods, SKK has a Settlement Utility mod.
Settlement options are on a holotape, where you can select 'scrap all junk in inventory' and I think another option to 'scrap all junk in workshop'.

Great mods from those folk and the mods are on Bethnet too.

Yeah, it's why I never used Scrapall.

I use "Spring Cleaning" and spend hours pulling weeds from the roads in Sanctuary. Takes forever but it's kinda relaxing, a bit like playing Powerwash Simulator. Just have to be careful not to delete houses you wanna actually keep, especially the foundations!

Anyway, I always thought Boston Airport was pretty easy to clean up. Nice flat base, no rough terrain or anything.

Possibly also Hangman's Alley. I usually completely empty that place of the default structures as I can't stand the way it's laid out.
Yeah installed Condo and obtained key and the house. Everything worked as intended, walls are still intact :) but everything else is destroyed, only power boxes, 500 volt electricity and nothing else remained.

- It is an interior space
- Can fasttravel directly in & out, like Home Plate
- Scrapall works perfectly

One bad side, it was decorated quite nicely, it felt like a crime to destroy everything inside, just to scrap some junks.. It is a ghost house now. Maybe i should have used somewhere else
