Only COD MW2 2022 POS ever made me need to lower the core clock to prevent artifacting above 2101 Mhz... very obtuse.. Then the same with BO6, and MW3, re-release. Repaired for a modest amount and continued kicking. I could not sell it to a friend after a repair.. :/ no matter how much, it's not a good feeling that you know nothing about how long it's really still got left in it. Silicon with love.

investment opportunity WAS then , and people are able to get VR working now, 0.7.1, but the skill ceiling is high, start slow to get used to it, :) VR 0.8 : Much better for most users than before.

latest nVidia driver was required to stop constant random crashing.. disabling steam input helped make driving 'live' rather than a 1/8th of a second delay, and now, when i lose control of a car i at least have the potential to correct it, or drift out of it! if you use a wheel, disable steam input for sure! even the ffb felt more responsive.

Just try to have fun. Stop overthinking it. This and ACC was soo good I bought a wheel. Now I'll never be able to turn my back on racing ;)

All the best to these amazing developers, i have been in love with less arcady-racing games since project cars, 1, and 2. :) I have seen the progress made from inception, when it was not playable for me, to now, when it's VERY playable for access of early incoming masses. Pity it never was, and that more features are being peeled away. Ambitions and will powers are not always matching. Reality is what kicks in, or budgets.

The uniqueness of the cars comes in with the age/technology of each racecraft, and era it belongs to. IF there's no flappy pedal gearboxes, you need to let go of throttle to change gears effectively, etc.
Nurburgring Touristenfarthen is the best all-around tester of a driver's skills <- Find a server in your afternoon-clear weather variant, or the rainy weather, or the 24hr alternative, where you start at 12PM,. and the server runs 24hr, and time progresses since server restart :) to give you an all-day / night driving experience.


The roadmap was great, the variety of cars to start since day 1 are impressive, and my performance is sadly lacking, so I excitedly await future optimization of performance updates . And already, performance is working well for i5 10400f and GTX1070 with 32Gb corsair RAM, i'm a soloist, With AI, it's pretty much unplayable, till i upgrade the PC, despite a near recommended CPU, and minimum GPU, not pulling anything but default settings + many things turned off post-processing wise;

1600km squared of deutschland around the nurburgring? is going to be INCREDIBLE :) cannot wait. [free roam mode is releasing towards the end/third quarter] - Doubtful if it happens now MAR 2026.

Also hoping for 1000+ achievements showcasing the excitement like in Assetto Corsa [1] Doubtful of a lot.

Now that i have upgraded my GPU, I still don't think this game is going to cater to me. Next we know the open world is also not going to part of it anymore. No career in Germany. No Nurburgring career. No purchase..

The rally experience is next to none. It's got the classic FWD, RWD, and AWD rally, and stages that are either sector-based, or you're racing the AI. Your car experiences all the trauma you put it through. It's funny and a complete learning experience. Take it slow. Learn the track, really get good.

One of the things I really enjoy about this so far, is that everything your co-pilot is telling you, has a progress bar as you're progressing through it, to really indicate where you are - based on what they have told you.,

You need to earn medals to unlock new cars, and stages and it gets challenging very quickly. But once you've got them all :) You're free to use them wherever you please in the racing modes ;)

Moza R5 thrives in this game above 100% gain; Pithouse settings, and In-game settings needs considerable time and modification to set up as you require it. It will take some time to get it right, but once it's set, you can then tune your cars in the area prior to race starts, or if a build is off you can restart to the service area.
Change TC ond ABS on the fly, as per surface, or turn it off :)

Inside the car setups, you can further increase the FFB< if you're not feeling it like you need.

There is a problem with the inputs being delayed. Nvidia Low Latency : ON <- was not as good as Ultra, to get the fast gear-downs - but I have reported it on the ACRally discord, unlike the people in Steam community discussions that cry for Steam reactions but don't really want it to be changed. Feedback on the above within the AMD Anti-lag have also improved experiences with it on :)

The graphics are stunning, and I don't believe I've got anything maxed, more normal and High's -> no DLSS available as far as I saw, if you want to try force this, use Nvidia Profile inspector.
it's like an upgraded Dirt Rally 2 - but without the full amount of tracks, or car selection as its in development [\spoiler]

you can see what you need to mess with to make it the way you want, this is what i am running with at the moment, it's the best i can get it.... but they don't simulate forces through the steering column it seems, FFB just shuts off when still, so you don't feel the true forces when braking and accelerating this is why it feels off, no tyre scrubbing when still at all, no lightened steering when booting it, and same with braking i don't feel the steering become heavier, i don't feel any longitudinal forces, totally ruins immersion, when you're happy with your setup save the file as READ ONLY, so it doesn't get wiped on an update.

also you can turn on centering spring in the wheel software to something low like 5-10%, the slight resistance can give a little extra detail

Thank you so much for the help! It turns out the issue was with the game settings after the update. It kept running on Max settings and wouldn't save my changes. But now that it's fixed, the game runs perfectly fine. Thanks again for your help! :8bitheart:
