HyFlex is UBI Business School’s learning and teaching ecosystem, inseparably woven into our Education Philosophy and directly aligned with our mission:

Crucially, the ecosystem also includes structured asynchronous learning (purpose-designed pre‑ and post‑class activities, guided resources, and paced learning tasks) that complements live sessions and ensures learners can consolidate knowledge, practise skills, and stay on track even when professional or personal schedules fluctuate.
UBI’s HyFlex ecosystem, EOCCS-certified by EFMD, sits within a highly selective global group (EFMD reports only 16 institutions with 50 EOCCS-certified courses), confirming the quality and consistency of our online and blended learning design. This approach has also been recognised internationally, including Highly Commended distinctions at the AMBA & BGA Excellence Awards 2026 for Best Lifelong Learning Initiative, reflecting UBI’s sustained focus on quality, relevance, and impact.
