You apply online through the UBI Business School platform, free of charge. Once your complete file is received, the admissions team reviews your academic background, professional experience and overall suitability. Selected candidates are invited to a 30-minute online interview with the Programme Director, typically held via Zoom, where your goals and fit for the programme are discussed. Successful applicants generally receive their admission decision within 30 days of the interview. Upcoming start dates are listed in the Admission Requirements section of this page.
The Executive MBA offers five start dates each year — September, November, February, April and June — so you can begin at the point that best suits your professional calendar, and the admissions team can advise on the ideal entry point for your circumstances. The programme carries 90 ECTS and can be completed in 12 to 24 months, letting you set a pace that fits your career: an intensive single year, or a steadier two-year route with no difference in tuition.
You can complete the Executive MBA fully in person at UBI’s Brussels campus or fully online from anywhere in the world. EU citizens have a third option — HyFlex, UBI’s hybrid model, which lets you switch freely between attending on campus and joining online, session by session. Teaching blends high-quality asynchronous materials with live sessions and real-time feedback through UBI’s EOCCS-certified learning ecosystem, so the experience stays interactive and personal whichever mode you choose.
Yes — the programme is built for working executives. Live online and HyFlex delivery, asynchronous study and the choice of a 12- or 24-month pace let you fit the MBA around a demanding role rather than pausing your career, most participants apply what they learn directly in their organisations as they go.
The Executive MBA combines ten core modules of 6 ECTS each, delivered over ten months and spanning strategy, finance, marketing, operations, analytics, technology and leadership, with a 30-ECTS Integrative Management capstone completed over six to twelve months. The capstone can run in parallel with your core modules, which is how the full programme can be finished in as little as twelve months. For the capstone you choose the format that best serves your goals: a business plan or consultancy project, the Venture Creation Lab, a thesis, an NGO development project, or a strategy project combined with an internship or international experience. You can also add an optional Period Abroad of three to four months at a partner university.
Yes, in two ways. You can add one of seven optional specialisations — Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, CRM and Marketing Cloud, AI in E-Commerce and Retail Marketing, Management of Technology, Digital Healthcare, Business Transformation and Changing Demographics, or Sustainable Energy Transition — each earning an additional British Professional Postgraduate Certificate issued by Middlesex University London. Alternatively, you can pursue a Double MBA through a streamlined four-month pathway at Porto Business School, ranked among the top 100 worldwide by the Financial Times, and graduate with a second MBA.
On successful completion you receive an accredited British degree from Middlesex University London: the Master of Business Administration (MBA). The programme is developed, delivered and assessed by UBI Business School and quality assured by Middlesex, which ranks among the top 100 young universities worldwide and the top 10 transnational universities globally (Times Higher Education). The Executive MBA itself is ranked 19th worldwide in the 2026 QS Global EMBA Rankings for joint programmes, and second for career outcomes — independent recognition of the programme’s standing and return on investment.
Tuition is EUR 19,950 for EEA students and EUR 28,500 for non-EEA students — a single full-degree fee that stays the same whether you complete the programme in one year or two. Fees for fully online study may differ by country; see the Fees section on this page for details. Tuition excludes personal equipment, textbooks, and travel or visa costs for international study trips. A range of scholarships is available, including merit-based, global inclusion, family-based, special group, refugee status and corporate scholarships.
If you are a non-EEA national planning to study in person in Brussels, you will need a Belgian long-stay student visa (type D), applied for as soon as you receive UBI’s official registration letter, as processing can take time. Once admitted, visa applicants make a first tuition payment plus an administrative fee of EUR 350 before UBI issues the official documents required for the application, and tuition is fully refunded if your visa is refused. If you prefer to secure your place first and complete enrolment later, a EUR 1,000 down-payment (non-refundable) option is also available. Studying fully online requires no visa at all, and the admissions team can guide you through each step.
