So I've done the first day back! We had a mock exam and I'm pleased that it could have gone worse : / Minus 6 degrees in the morning today... Very cold. I wore my leather, heeled boots and and I slipped twice and fell on my ass!! Haha. Wasnt funny at the time, at all. |

Was pretty nice. I sunbathed in my back yard since the sun was out and it was pretty hot. It was pretty nice. I got a bit of a tan too I think. We've found our house and we've payed the deposit. Now we are waiting for the key and we'll start packing once it's here; my dad says. The house is alright, pretty good actually, even though my room is like a large box. Lol. Its not too far from college either, which is where I'm planning on being in less than a month. Another Youtube dilemma that I'm worried about: This karaoke/impersonator guy called 'E' on youtube who puts up vids of his of course, and who I was friended by since I told him I was a fan has sent me a message today saying that he was taking me off of my friends list for hating on him. Basically, he told me to read his blog which I've only read today, it says that there is this hater or two (he gave their screenames) who I shouldn't friend back because they are actually really horrible to him and post comments, friend his friends and make channels just to hate on him. When I friended this hater guy, I thought that he was E's big fan, hence his screename and by skimming through his page quickly. Dont think I realised he wasn't really a fan until now, if I did then I might not have added him or I might have added him by respecting his opinion and not realising the degree of destruction he was causing. I realise now, by E's blog and and by properly looking at the haters page that this hater seems like a real sadass. I sent E a message, more of a letter, apologising, saying that I didn't know, and that I'm a fan etc. I am a fan, he has a certain, special kind of charisma, and its inspiring how he performs with joy despite the haters. He did say that he doesnt forgive haters, but I hope he forgives me and see's that I'm really quite a fan. Why would I leave nice comments and subscribe to him if I was a hater? I told him that I'm really not that sad. Speaking of youtube, I have another vid up. More of a slideshow. I heard an instrumental version or two of the song 'Moon River' from the 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' soundtrack. I managed to get my hands on a piano version of the song, which is really what I was looking for. I was looking for it because I had an idea of a Janis memorial slideshow to a piano instrumental of the song, using adorable pics of her. Here is the finished product that I put together last night:

Firstly, before I go into the main part of this post, I thought I'd say a bit about what went on today and whats gonna be on tomorrow. Well today I went for a walk, in the rain! It was kinda a refreshing experience, since its not often that you're out in such rain in Summer. It wasn't too heavy, I did get kinda soaked though, my hair and my trousers were pretty soaked. I decided that I'd take a really warm bath when i got which home, which I did. Aaahhhh : ) It was nice : ) Not much else went on today to be honest, just watched a bit of tv, woke up at about 3 so I got a lot of sleep. Tomorrow I got an orthodontist appointment and I'm getting there by train since its quite far and the train station is opposite the orthodontist, very convenient. I then get back into town and I've got an appointment with my social worker and then its my concert practice! : ) I look forward to the practice : ) I think I might call my friend and see if she wants to come along. So, yeah, I'll be out quite a lot tomorrow. I took the pics of my new LP's and CD's that I bought at the CD and record fair on Saturday. I got pretty lucky cuz I found great Doors and Janis LP's, and great Doors and other CD's. I also took pics of my Doors and Janis collections. I think I have to resize the pics cuz they must be huge, and then I'll upload them onto here and I'll comment on them. Hope you enjoy : ) quot;> </div></div> |

The weather's been beautiful lately, really hot. I've been going for several walks these past few days. I talked to my dad about how hot it must be in Spain and other holiday places somewhat near England. I dont think theres much chance of us going on holiday this Summer though. I might be out of here at somepoint anyway so it might not apply to me whether we go or not. I would've taken pics on my walks. I dunno if my camera is charged. I might take some and share them : ) I bet that all of you are getting nice weather where you live? I think this might be a hot weather period worldwide. Who knows, I might be totally wrong.

I met up with Sean, the musician guy, a singer woman and her son. It was quite a nice meeting and a casual jam session. The only problem is that I was nervous, I hardly sung. A bit of a waste. I get soo anxious, we both think that i need a confidence boost. Intimate settings are more intimidating, you feel more connected to your audience so there is more of a struggle. He is coming over tomorrow for a bit so that I can show him some songs that I wanna play. I really hope that we can put something together, and that this might be the start of me making some music! I've been thinking about carrying on with my screenplay. I have quite a bit of time, especially since I sorted my laptop issue out. I was thinking of buying a new laptop but I think that I'll just buy this one, which is my dads, after he suggested that I do that. So I wont have to do laptop hunting, and file transfers and all that. I'm thinking of creating a proper music library on here and intsalling last.fm, thats what I initially wanted to comfortably do with a laptop of mine and a reason why I was looking for one. |
