    Very unfortunate to see German public broadcaster @ZDF amplify Russian disinformation by calling Taiwanese boxer Lin Yu-ting an “intersexual m… female”. To be clear, the IBA has been discredited and it’s unclear what they tested. Lin is female and competing as such @sportstudio

    BREAKING Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an was just heckled by a large group of protestors at the 228 memorial event in the capital. Chiang claims to be the great-grandson of Chiang Kai-shek, who ultimately signed responsible for the 228 Incident and the March Massacre.

    Two years into this pandemic, the Minister of Health of this country of 23M is still holding daily press briefings talking about individual(!) cases. Each case has its own case number! Can you imagine? Sometimes we forget how truly amazing #Taiwan’s pandemic response has been.

    FUN FACT During the medal ceremony, the song of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee was played, but the Taiwanese in the audience were signing the ROC’s National Flag Anthem. While the two songs share the same melody, the official lyrics are different.
