Anne

I need to vent about my name. I'm pretty sure when my parents picked the name Anne they never envisioned the problems I would run into. I love my name. I think it's cute and easy to say but as the below list will prove Anne is not an easy name.

1. In my opinion Anna should be spelled A N N A
2. In my opinion Annie should be spelled A N N I E ( I do not mind being called Annie as a nickname but if it was my name this is how I would spell it)
3. Although my last name could be a first name who has ever heard of Anne as a last name? I get called Terry all the time.
4. Even though I spell my name in emails and cards I still get my name spelled incorrectly in responses back to me. Do people think I spell my own name wrong?
5. If I say that I spell my name Anne with an E over the phone do not ask me if I spell my name with one N. Who spells Anne like Ane?
6. I know people are familiar with the name Anne because half the population of girls in the U.S. it seems like have Anne for a middle name. Maybe they spell it Ann and I'm fine with that but if you know me please spell mine the way I spell it and I will do the same for you.
7. I have never had more problems with my name since I moved to NY so maybe it's just a New York thing.
8. I am not exaggerating when I say I have problems with my name at least once a week if not more and this is why I needed to get this off my chest. Two things off this list happened today but they have also happened in the past.
9. Who thought I would need to post about Anne and not Hunerjager?

Breaking Dawn

I picked it up the week it came out and finished it in a few days. I loved it just like I loved the other ones. I don't want to spoil it for anyone so that's all I will say.

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!

I hope you have a great day tomorrow spending your anniversary in London. I love you both and I'm so grateful for how much you love each other.

I couldn't find a picture of just you two on my computer. I'll need to take some of those next time I see you.

Happy Birthday Dana!

Remember when I used to be taller then you.

I definitely miss having you around to chat, shop and go to movies with. Thanks for coming out to visit. Love ya!

Sorry I disappeared

Ryan and I have had a crazy month. I'm saying this to justify the really long post I'm about to write. The first thing that happened was on Tuesday July 29th. Ryan and I went to bed about 11. A few minutes after being in bed we heard what sounded like gun shots. We decided to look outside and see if we were right and unfortunately we were. People were running up and down the street so we quickly called 911. Because of all of the people running on the street we couldn't give the police a lot of information so Ryan went outside. When he got outside he saw two people with gunshot wounds lying in the street just outside of our bedroom window. It was a complete nightmare. Ryan and I were already sick of our apartment because our neighborhood is so unbelievably loud and obnoxious that we decided that we had to move. We called the apartment owners the next day and told them everything that happened and that we wanted out by the end of August.

That same week Dana came into town. It was nice to see her because it's always fun hanging out plus it offered a little bit of a distraction from the shooting. We had a fun time. We scored lottery Wicked tickets which is the best deal. It's 26 dollars for front row center seats. We also hit up some of our favorite places to eat, shopped and to top it off on Monday night went to the Eddie Vedder concert. He played music from the Into the Wild soundtrack plus some Pearl Jam songs and some covers. Ryan was in heaven!!

The next weekend we were dedicated to finding an apartment and we did! We found a cute apartment in Forest Hills, NY, which is in Queens. It's nice and quite and the apartment is cute. I'll post pics once we move. Ryan and I basically staked the place out for 2 days because we wanted to be certain that it was quite and more family friendly.

Our Verizon plan expired this month and we picked up a couple of these cute things.

My favorite thing is the GPS. It works great. No more getting lost.

Last weekend we started packing our stuff up because we are moving on the 30th. I hate packing but I love redecorating a new space. Taylor and Ashley Cameron are coming to visit the week we move. We are so excited to see them!! We promise we will make time to do fun things with you two.
