Coster's First Time In The Snow

My dad bought Coster his first snow suit for Christmas. It came in pretty handy since it snowed about everyday that we were there. Here he is just watching the snow fall.

We layed Coster down in the snow to see what he would do and.... he started to cry. he didn't like the snow falling in his face. Maybe if it wasn't snowing at the time he would have liked it.

Christmas Day

My dad is laughing because he has just realized how hard Coster pinches.... When he gets tired he pinches the crap out of you with his whole hand.

Coster had to learn to enjoy his time in the carseat during the visit because we were constantly driving here and there. His favorite thing to play with was his quiet book that my parents gave him. Most of the time he wasn't this happy.

Coster actually did pretty good at opening presents. He has always liked to tear magazines, books, and loose papers around the house so he was a bit prepared. He did like the bows the very best though.

It was snowing like crazy that day so we all decided to take the Frontrunner down to the temple instead of driving. It was a lot safer and we were just flying past all the people on the freeway. Here is Coster with my parents.

Just Some Pictures...

I have to find new ways to entertain Coster while I'm trying to get things done now days. He likes sitting in the basket when I put the warm clothes on him.

Coster has been starting to stand up on his own now if he can hang on to things. He is getting strong and independent. He stillisn't crawling yet though. We are working on it.

The other thing that he likes to do is pull himself up and down, up and down, up and down in his crib. He just sits and laughs while he does it too. It is so funny!

We are heading home to Utah for Christmas tomorrow and we are looking forward to seeing everyone. Mostly I am just excited for everyone to see how big Coster is getting. He is at such a fun age right now.

1st Thanksgiving Day

This is Coster's new face that he pulls. I don't know if it is supposed to be a smile or what, but it is funny. He also makes a crazy breathing sound from his nose while doing it.

We went down to my aunt's house in Virginia for Thanksgiving this year. My cousin who also lives in the D.C. area came also. It was a small family affair. It was nice to get together and talk and eat some good food. While we were there I took some pictures of Coster around her house. She has a great area for pictures. I just wish that Coster would've looked up at the camera more often. There were a lot of cute places, but there wasn't much cooperation on his end for a good picture. He was to interested in everything new around him. We had a nice relaxing time for Thanksgiving.

*** By the way since my last post Coster had his first hair cut. We didn't have much to cut off but it was getting long in some spots and short in others. We just gave him a nice even trim all around. No more mohawks for now.

Coster's New Entertainment

When I was cleaning out one of our boxes from the move I found Turf's toy that he used to play with. Well Coster thought that was a new fun thing to play with so he started waving it around and all of a sudden Turf was in the room with us jumping and chasing the toy around. Coster thought it was so funny. He was laughing for the first little while but by the time that I actually thought to get the camera he was just playing and Turf was a little more worn out, but it is still funny. Coster is starting to be very attentive especially to Turf. It is so fun!

Look at Coster's face :) For those of you that don't know I am the sunbeam teacher in our ward and the kids just went crazy when they saw me sitting in sacrament with this top on. Once we got into the classroom they all made a comment about the leopard print. Who knew it would be so exciting for them.

This is the main reason for this post... This is Coster's new jacket that he finally fits into that he wore to church. He looks so grown up.

Coster's New Favorite Thing To Do Is....

SWING! He gets so excited to just let his feet dangle out of the swing and watch the ground go back and forth. Thank goodness it has still been good weather so that we can go outside and play at the park. What a cute little smile! By the way did you notice the new hairstyle?

Election Day and A New Crib!

Look who else was in there as soon as we got it set up. Turf thinks he has to be where all the action is. Don't worry though he can't jump in there when the gate is up all the way, and of course we close Coster's door at night so he can't get in there. Just don't want anyone worrying :)

Look how small he looks in there! We finally got Coster his own crib. Due to us moving around so much lately I haven't wanted to buy another peice of furntiure to move. He has been sleeping in the cradle that my dad made until this point. He is starting to pull himself up and other thing like that so it was no longer safe!

Coster went with us to vote on Election day. The ladies gave Coster his own sticker and apparently Clay found the perfect place for it.

Coster's 1st Halloween Costume

So these are some pictures of his costume for this year. He is supposed to be a dragon if you can't tell. The pictures didn't quite turn out as cute as I would've hoped but oh well (not that Coster had anything to do with that). Can you believe how chubby those cheeks are? This costume really brings it out in him! I hope everyone has fun trick or treating this weekend!

Cutest Little Baseball Player....

If you remember from an earlier post I found this little jacket and so I wanted to get some cute little pictures of Coster and some baseballs. I think they turned out pretty cute. Coster had about had it by the end though as you can see in the last picture he is getting upset. What a good sport.
