A Big Bed For Coster!!!

We got Coster a new bedroom set and we decided to make the transisiton before the baby comes. Not like we will be using the crib right off but....
Coster was a little bit sad and concerned that we were taking down his bed. But then he saw that he got to sleep in the big bed and was excited. Here he is helping wipe down the crib....

Helping Clay put his bed together.
He was even putting in the screws all by himself.... well in the holes atleast :)
Laying out the boards
Checking it out.....
Ready for bed!!!
Coster has been in his bed for about a week and a half now and he has done great! He doesn't ever get out and mess around for bedtime or naptime. He has been such a good boy! When he wakes up he just sits in his bed saying " Mom, done!" Until I come and get him. What a sweet little guy!

Visit From The Dabb's

My family came out to visit us since Kristy will be leaving on her mission on the 28th of July to Sweden. I am too far along to make it back for her talk and all of that good stuff so it was great that they could make it out here to spend some time with us. My family worked the whole time that they were here. Can you believe that? My dad took on the project of framing most of the basement. He is trying to get his bedroom done downstairs I think :) He also built Coster his very own playhouse under the staircase. It is a two level luxury hotel for the little guy. He has been loving it. These are really the only pictures I got while they were here because I have been slacking all together in the picture department. I will have to wait till I get some e-mailed to me from their cameras. Family is the best! Clay was at work, but here are all the rest of us after a long weekends work.

Here is the side view of the playhouse.
Coster and Grandpa Dabb looking out the window to Grandma from the second level.
Coster going in....
And coming out..... My dad made the doors just big enough for Clay and I to fit in there so we can get Coster out if we need to. :)
Well, this is a horrible picture with how dark it is but here are the 3 bedrooms, Bathroom, and closets that my dad got framed up in just 2 days. With help from the rest of the family of course.
Coster was so sad when everyone left him. He really wanted them to stay and play a lot longer. He kept saying that he wanted to ride in Grandpa's car. (they drove here) Even though we won't get to see Kristy again for another 1 1/2 we will be excited to see everyone else when the new little one gets here. Coster especially can't wait. :)

4th Of July Fun!

Clay and Coster doing sparklers. This was Coster's forst time doing them. How exciting!

Look at him go..... Such concentration.
Coster couldn't throw the pops hard enough so he would just step on them instead.
Sparklers with uncle Preston.
The three of us on the fourth of July! Coster being a goof! (33 weeks pregnant)
This 4th of July we got to spend it with family. Wahoo! Preston and Carli flew in and Clint, Aimee and their two boys came down to our house. We love being close enough to family that we can celebrate with them here and there. What fun!

Powdered Donuts!

What a mess!

But couldn't be happier!

Denver Aquarium

Coster and Easton out front just waiting to get our tickets and start the fun.

Coster wouldn't look for his picture. Oh well.
Maddux just hanging out in the stroller enjoying the fish.
Easton getting ready to go into the aquarium.
Coster has been watching too many super hero movies.... he kept punching the fish
Coster and Easton watching the Ray
Coster's cute little silhouette!
Watching the sharks up close
Coster could've stayed here for hours on end. Toward the end though you cold tell he was getting a bit tired, he would just lay on the little ledge and watch the fish from there.
Coster and Easton at the Manta Ray tank. Easton was being daring and trying to touch them, Coster just observed.

Yard Updates!

Don't mind Coster's outfit.... all I can say is Clay :) Anyway, this is one of Coster's favorite spots to stand out fron of the house. He will say " I want to go by the tree" Yep this bush is "the tree" Just his size though.

Clay purchased some trees for the backyard. They all came in a big red mailing bag and this is what they looked like..... sticks! I told Clay that his online ordering days are over. Coster will ask he if can go and see the sticks even. They are getting leaves on them now though and they are supposed to grow pretty quick so we will see.
Coster and Clay playing in the backyard! The grass came in pretty quick and rather nicely :)
Clay rented a bobcat to move some dirt around in the backyard and make a few mounds for future backyard improvements. Don't worry folks he ALMOST only tipped over once! Pretty good for never have driven anything like this before right?
