Thanksgiving

This year we went up to Clay's brothers house. They are only an hour away but it seems like we never see each other. Anyway, here is Clay and Cutler. Just when Cutler smiles Clay just sits there. Come on Clay!

Hospital Stay....

I don't have any pictures of this because I didn't have my camera with me. Anyway, we (me and the 2 boys) headed out to Utah to surprise my mom for her 50th birthday party. We flew in and met her up at Maddox for the big surprise party.
Long story short..... We had all had the flu a couple of days earlier but Coster had the worst of it. He was still sick when we got to Utah. The flight was fine with 2 boys but afterwards Cutler was screaming becasue he needed his diaper changed, and Coster was feeling so sick still so I had him laying in the stroller meanwhile carrying a couple of bags and Cutler in my arms. Eventually I found a quieter place to change Cutler and all of a sudden I hear a faint "mommy" and throw up everywhere. Coster had it all over his clothes and all over the stroller. I didn't have any extra clothes so I just covered him up with Cutler's blanket until I could get the suitcase. Keep in mind Clay and I thought that he was on the up and up by now since we both were too.
Once I got everything cleaned up and gathered I headed out to the baggage claim. Meanwhile I got a call from my dad who was coming to pick us up and he said that the transmission on the new car just blew so he would be running late. My poor dad! So me and the boys just waited at the baggage claim until he could get there. I couldn't really go anywhere with a stroller, 2 boys, one being super sick, 2 peices of luggage, carseats, and diaper bags. Wow!
We didn't have to wait too long though my dad was there pretty quick. Who knows how fast he was really going on the freeway :) We got everyone loaded in and drove out to my dads shop and waited until the party. Then Me and the boys drove up with my sister to surprise my mom that we were there.
After we had surprised her, we hung around for about 1/2 hour and then we headed out to the hospital to get Coster taken care of. After almost 2 bags of fluid they sent us home. He was feeling lots better. That next morning Coster woke up with a fever and so we headed into the doctor. ( They see us every time that we are in town:)) They did some tests and sent us home and called me that afternoon and told me to take Coster back up to the hospital and that he would probablly be staying over night. So we headed out. That night I think I got 1 1/2 hours of sleep. Between Coster needing me, Cutler crying and the nurses waking him up every 2 hours to do something (which led to screaming, which led to Cutler waking up again) it was a long night.
Coster was feeling a lot better after we left the hospital though. Almost back to normal.
He got better just in time to fly home the next day! What a fun vacation huh? Good thing we were by my family and my mother-in-law because I don't know how I could've done it without Clay there. What a trip!

Oh Dear!

The other day Coster SHOULD HAVE been in bed taking his nap but meanwhile this is what was brought to my attention. I apparently fell asleep rocking Cutler after I got Coster to bed for his afternoon nap and woke up to Coster saying "mommy, mommy" As I came to I saw scribbles all over. I asked Coster where his clothes and his diaper was and he ran into the next room to grab them. That is the first time that he has done that. When I asked him what was on is belly he just kept saying that he wanted to color. Well I guess he got his coloring in that day. Note to mom: don't fall asleep even for 20 minutes when the boys are supposed to be asleep because you might just find this.

Oh and Cutler has just been doing a lot of this. Smiling and talking. What great little boys we have.
