Christmas break

We enjoyed playing games and visiting with family during Christmas break. The kids played hard every day! I enjoy watching them interact and get to know their cousins.

Kierra and Maxwell made a video of themselves on my phone and thought it was hilarious!

The day before Maria and Jordan's family had to leave, it snowed! The Moser boys were so excited to play in the snow! We all went out and had a great time!

The night the kids spent the night at Grandma's they enjoyed a bedtime story (or two) and playing Hide and Go Seek.

We enjoyed time with family during Christmas Break. The entire Verl McCleve family was in Snowflake this year and it was good to all be together.

The entire Porter Family was together for Christmas this year too! It was fun to spend time with everyone and let the kids play with their cousins. We took family pictures outside and it was FREEZING!! By the time we were done all the kids were crying. I am so grateful for this family I married into!

Triple bunkbed

The girls got a triple bunk bed for Christmas this year. We love all the space they have in their bedroom now. They can even do cartwheels, headstands, etc in their now. We plan on adding a rail and steps to the second bunk, but haven't done it yet. Now the boys are asking for one.

Christmas Day

Here are a few pictures of Christmas Morning. The kids were really excited to see that Santa had come! He brought us a nice basketball hoop this year.

Even Devin was pleasantly surprised this year. He did not know what most of his gifts were.

The kids enjoy fishing for presents from Grandma and Grandpa Porter every year. This year they each received their own travel bag.

Favorite lines:

Kardon: "Book covers draw you in like a bug to the light, "But it is just so BEAUTIFUL! Zap!" Me: "Hopefully the book doesn't zap you though." Kardon: "Sometimes with the price-- you see the cover and it draws you in and then ZAP! It costs what?" (age8)
"This isn't it, it is just a curshmal." (commercial) (Kierra age 4)
"Yeah, their house is a 3 footer" (three story) (Kinz age 6)
Kardon: (sigh) "And now my video is bluffering again." (age 8)
Devin (talking about dinosaurs): "Do you know what extinct means?" Kenton: "It means it doesn't smell very good." (6)
Kenton: "The girls are going to be kidsitters AND babysitters...cause Kierra is a baby." (6)
Kinz (3) on the swing: "Mom, push me as high as your number!" (my age)
(when Kierra spits up or slobbers) "Mommy, Mommy! Kierra spilled!" (Kaddie 18 mon.)
"This is going to surprise your face, Mom" (Kinz 3)
Me to Kenton: "Do you want me to get some small pumpkins or a big one?" Kenton: "How about a medium pumpkin (that he could hardly get his arms around) and a large pumpkin that we can get inside?" (6)
(helping Kenton with Batman mobile part of his game) " Wooh, impressive. I am clapping my hands to you Mom. Thanks for learning what I said to you, to not lose your armor." (5)
Kenton: "Mom, will you make me a perfect Batman mask for free...and just for fun?" (5)
Me (after picking up a pair of wet, mated socks): "Why are these socks wet?" Kenton: "Cuz, they were in the toilet and I took them out."
Me: "Kenton, change your Batman clothes before we go to Aunt Kelly's" Kenton: (sigh) "Mom, It's not who I am, but what I DO that defines me."
Kardon: "Mom, did you see that? I flute!" (flew) (3)
Kardon: "What does that hear like?" (sound like) (3)
Me: "I'm tired Kinz, lets go to bed." Kinz: "No it's not dark outside yet, Mom." Me: "Yes it is...look outside." Kinz: "See Mom, it's not dark" Me: "Your right Kinz, it's not time to got to bed." Kinz: "Just wishing Mom?" Me: "Yep, just wishing." (2)
Kenton after picking up toys: "Well Mom, my work here is done." (5)
(Kinz had been playing with watercolors) Me: Kinz, you have it on your face too...were you trying to see what it tastes like?" Kinz: "It's not very good." (2)
Kenton ready to go with Dad: "Goodbye Mom, I'm going to...somewhere else." (5)
Kindsey: "Kardon hit me with his foot!" (2 yrs)
Kenton: "Okay, how about we watch Batman Beyond and Scooby Doo and then Ninja Turtles at night time?" Me: "That sounds like too many movies." Kenton: "It's a good idea I think." Me: "I don't know..." Kenton: "You do now." (5)
Me: "Time to go to bed guys." Kardon: "Look, it's just purple outside, not black...wait till it's night outside." (3)
Kardon "It's day day time." (3)
Me: "The wind blew the snow to our house." Kardon: "I like the wind.....to do that." (3)
Kardon wearing loose pants: "Mom, my pants are trying to fall down." (3)
Me: "You have to be quiet on your bed for five minutes." Kenton: "That's not the plan!" (5)
Kardon after drinking milk that wasn't cold: "That makes me grumpy!" (3)
