October FUN!!!

The month of October was full of fun and exciting things. We took another trip to the cabin and didn't do quite so well as the last time with the fishing but the girls had fun just the same. Lots of fun activities at school: Fall Festival, they got to dress up in their costumes and play games and have the chance to win toys and candy. Clara won the Costume Contest for the cutest. Crazy Hair day for Paige and Kaelynn was SO fun for them, they loved going through all our hair accessories and adding more and more items to their heads :) Then they had their Autumn parties. Clara and I went into Kaelynn's class to help with that and had fun decorating cupcakes and gourds and having a snack. We peeked in on Paige's party as well to see all her fun decorating of cookies and making of a Haunted house. Carving the pumpkin and trick or treating was our fun end to the month. The "Fancy Witch", "Raggedy Ann" and the "50's Sock Hop Girl" had lots of fun!!

Month of JULY!!!

The month of July has been FULL to the brim. Clara turned 4, we had lots of visitors plus we made lots of little day trips. We got to celebrate Clara being 4 along with lots of opportunities to go and just be with family and friends. We went to the beach, the Botanical Gardens in Madison and saw LOTS of butterflies, we finally made time to have a fire and make s'mores (mosquitoes and all :).We were BUSY all month long. The end of the month brought Vanessa and Gary's wedding. All five of us were in the wedding and it was a PERFECT day!! Hope you enjoy the collection of pictures I put together for you!!

Month of June!!!

This month has been busy busy busy... The pictures are a little out of order but you'll get the gist!!

While in DBQ MiMie and Grandpa showed us a nice surprise in their front bushes. A mommy duck had a nest and newly hatched ducklings were staring up at us :) Very cute

Cannon Ball!!! Got some time at Grandpa Dale's house in the pool. Fun was had by all.

My children have turned into fish!!

Got a visit from our MN cousins. We visited the Bay Beach Wildlife sanctuary and had a GREAT time!!

Kaelynn's graduation from 4K was a big day in the Hauser house!!

Kaelynn getting her diploma :)

Sisters before the graduation. Clara had surgery earlier in the day and so wasn't able to go to the ceremony but the girls wanted to include her in their pictures :)

Spent a day helping friends cut down trees and the kids had a good time playing!! Kaelynn with Trevor (a.k.a. Chubs)

Trevor's big sister Caitlyn! Not to be confused with our Kaelynn :)

The girls are spending some time this summer doing the Kids Bowl Free program. We had a fun time playing our allotted two games!! I unfortunately did not have as much fun since my score was beaten by Paige :)
Maiden Voyage of the new Canoe!! Took the girls and the canoe to Lily Lake and took a trip around the water. Had a great time. No one fell in and everyone commented on how much fun they had!!

While Daddy is Away the Girls will Play :)

So while Nick was busy at Men's Retreat this past weekend the Girls decided to make it a weekend of crafts. We started off at Barkhausen Water Fowl Preserve (which is just down the road from out house) We built a Blue Bird House together and they were SO excited. They each took turns hammering in nails and as you can see from the finished product it turned out quite well :)

The girls have been spending a lot of time outside in the past couple weeks since the weather has been so splendid and in so have been finding "treasures". They have been collecting little bitty pine cones in a bucket so we made a craft with those. Our sunny sunflower was quick and easy and they enjoyed crumpling all the paper :)

Our final project for the weekend was to make Easter bunnies. Since the girls know the true meaning of Easter I thought it wouldn't hurt to do something a little fun to go with the Holiday. After I dyed the socks with food coloring and they dried we filled them with rice and decorated them up. (the socks are lone socks just so you don't think I used perfectly good socks for this craft :) They turned out VERY cute and are now displayed on our mantle place.

Random Pics

I thought I better update the Blog so people don't forget what my kids look like :) This is them on Valentine's Day!! They were so excited to wear their LOVE shirts. Such Girls they are :)
This may look like a huge mess but I assure you that there was a plan. As you can see these MANY hair accessories are organized by color. Once you continue down the pics you will see what we did with ALL of them to help us find them easier. The girls had fun and I was able to get some organization done as well.

Mess is all cleaned up.
Finished Product!!

A Few Christmas Pics, Just a Few :)

I am only going to explain this one picture. This is my children performing a "puppet show" with their stuffed animals in order to give me my Christmas present. Their little skit included myself (the pink bear with the cell phone) and my friend Rebecca (the brown bear with the cell phone) We are talking to each other and expressing our desire to see each other and hang out. For Christmas Nick bought me an airplane ticket (NOT one way for anyone feeling smart) to go to Colorado in March to see Rebecca. I'm looking forward to seeing my dear friend again really soon.
