Charleston water...
We miss our west coast waves, but Charleston has so many great things to do near water! These are pictures of our pond, the coastal rivers, Kimball swimming, the county park Kayak dock, the ocean, and the beautiful Charleston bridge (the longest suspension bridge in the country, longer that the Golden Gate bridge). We love the water and look forward to the spring when its warm enough to enjoy again!

The Angel Oak
The Angel Oak is thought to be the oldest living thing east of the Mississippi. It is beautiful and only 8 or so miles from our house. Come visit like Oma, Brooke, and Elle and we will take you there!

How high can you go?

We decided to see if Kimball has any fear of heights...the answer? NO WAY! He scaled the climbing wall 2.5 times without looking down saying "I'm Spiderman!" and " It feels like someone is pulling me up!" Climbing is sure to be one of Kimball and Daddy's hobbies here in Charleston. Go, Kimball, go!

Home improvement: Part 1.

We decided to put our touch on the yard this fall. We added 1.5 tons of mulch, 7 trees, 8 bushes, and a bunch of flowers. We also did a square foot garden that gave tomatoes through November. more pics are on our ofoto site.

Arrependemo-nos.

We the people of the Henriod family will update our blog more faithfully so that we do not appear to be losers who have dropped off the earth since Sept 7. Quick update, then we will work backwards with some pics. The first quarter is over, thankfully. Joel read his little eyes out, and his thumbs are getting really strong. The Matrix guy could bend spoons with his mind. Joel can bend them with his thumbs, thumbs that even burnished calculus are wroth to forget.
