OK.......

I'll admit....................... I AM PREGNANT!!!!!

I KNOW! I can't even believe it! But I am so excited and grateful to be in this moment. I have just passed my first trimester, yay! We got to hear the heartbeat! It was amazing. So I debated a long time when I should announce it b/c I want to tell everyone and then I don't want to tell anyone. I have this MAJOR fear for some reason of announcing it and it getting taken away from me. So hopefully everything will turn out fine and have a healthy baby.


Here is a little bit of what happened in case you were wondering. I was on chlomid for 7-8 months and was scheduled to go off the next month b/c both the doc and I wanted to move on to other things since it hadn't done anything. So I was scheduled for more tests and searching for places to get in-vitro or adoption. I had decided that those were the 2 roads we were on and I was ok with that. BUT, I waited and waited for that time of the month and it never showed up! I was really freaking out! In the past I would be late and take a test, it would be negative, and I would start the next day. I didn't want that to happen so I waited until I couldn't wait anymore. I just wanted to get it over with! Much to my surprise it came out positive!! I was in such shock I took 2 more tests to make sure. I start laughing and smiling out of pure joy and then I start crying. I couldn't believe it. I drop to my knees and thank my Heavenly Father. And the crying continued for the next few days!! Haha! It was horrible. I cried every time I told someone about it! But, it was tears of JOY! Even Adam was getting emotional! We had stake conference the next day and everytime he heard the word father he was getting emotional...awww! And Adam has been the best! He is actually over-protective of me now that I am prego. I love him! It has been fun and we are going to just try and enjoy every minute of it. I know that it was hard to go through those years of wanting and not being able to, but I can't trade the things I have learned from it for anything. It has been a trial and a blessing. And I know that there are still many women struggling or not able to adopt and it is hard. We are not alone. God knows us and strengthens us.

Well, I wish I had a picture of the baby or something exciting to show, sorry. When I get more pregnant I will. Right now I just look chubby! Don't really like this stage...haha! But, I have been feeling pretty good so far. No major sickness yet. I just pray everything goes well. Thanks to everyone's support and prayers. We have been blessed with great family and friends!!

Well this has taken me forever! But, these are just a few highlights of the BEST WEEK EVER!
We were able to go visit with some of our best friends for a few days and it was so much fun! We LOVE being with them! As soon as we got there Kendyll already had Adam following her around playing "mommy and sweetie" and polly pockets, Adam was the Beast of course! Haha! It was hilarious!

We got to meet Claire for the first time! She was so cute you just want to bite her! And she actually really liked me...I am good at bribing kids into liking me.

We went downtown to Pig Out in the park and saw the Radio Flyer wagon. It was a great time! The slide was fun but we weren't moving too fast b/c my hips are a little too big for it!

Then we went to the lake and put our feet in the FREEZING COLD water. Oh I remember all the water being this cold in Idaho...you have to work your way in and wait for your body to numb so it gets "warm".

But Kendyll didn't think it was as cold as I did..............

Oh we loved being there with everyone!!!

Us girls tried to do a little picture stunt and pick up Delphia and Aubry wanted to lift her over our heads.....ok..............hahaha! First of all I was on the wrong side and second of all I had the heaviest part of her body, which isn't really that heavy, but third I was laughing so hard I was losing strength!!

So at this point I was just trying not to drop delph in the water! Haha! It makes me laugh just looking at it!!

We decided to just do different stunt.....

Delph is still scared for her life, but we did it!

Kendyll's curly hair!

She came out whipping that hair around and said" Welcome to my curly hair!!". It was quite the reveal! And she continued to toss that hair all during church until everyone noticed!

We had so much fun and miss our friends terribly. But, it will only get more exciting each time we meet up! The friendships we made through college were put in our lives for a reason and I am grateful for that.

And what makes me even happier is finding clearance prices!!
Like these sandals were $3 each...AMAZING!

AND, I got to go garage saling this weekend with my mom and sis in law and we found some amazing stuff...well my sis in law did but I get just as much of a good deal high from other people as I do for myself...haha!

I found this cool lantern for a DOLLAR! Umm, I'll take it!

I LOVE it! Oh, and some more amazing news..................... we got a HOBBY LOBBY!!!

Brothers!!!!
Two of Adam's brothers came to visit for a weekend and we had so much fun while they were here!
The ladies! I really enjoyed having them here. It is always a party together! They all left their kids at home so everyone was wanting to stay up all night and sleep in....haha! We just aren't as young as we used to be! It was good times.

We went downtown to see some sights and watched one of the spray paint guys go to work. It is amazing the stuff these guys can do!

Haha! This guy is always in front of the Bellagio fountains. He does an awesome job of being a statue!

The water show at the Bellagio is always a treat!!

They went to a Blue Man Group show and my sister-in-law was pulled up on stage!! That is crazy amazing!

Ha ha ha....we love eachother! It really was a fun visit and we look forward to another one.

Giggle room

SO, I have a few posts I am working on b/c it has been a while since I have been on here. I wanted to show everyone the guest room/my nephews room I was working on! I say its my nephews room right now so they want to come spend the night in "their" beds! But, my brother didn't like the color scheme...haha. It's my house and I will do what I want!

Here is the dresser drawers before I painted them:




This is going to be the mirror to sit on top of the dresser. I used fence posts and painted them a little. I got the idea from Shanty 2 Chic, I love their blog.





And these babies were founf at DI for $5 each! I found them when my mother-in-law was in town. I think they are footboards....but can be used for sooo much more! Haha! I was excited to find these.

I used the long one as a shelf. And I LOVE IT!

I made the giggle letters to put on top. Well, I had the wood letters and painted them and put paper on them.

Then I spray painted some cheap frames and put scrapbook paper in them to add tons of color in the room.

Here is the mirror and dresser all finished! I really love it!

I really shouldn't even put this on here b/c its embarrasing but oh well! This was the picture Adam put on the dresser. SO the one picking their nose looks like a mean little boy....nope....its me. Ewww! A mullet and finger in the nose=perfection!Finally it looks like a room! I put those curtains up and found the bedspreads on clearance so I am feeling pretty good about it!

celebrations!

We have been celebrating Adam's birthday and our 6 year wedding anniversary! YAY!
It has been 6 years of PURE BLISS!! I really am grateful to have Adam in my life. He is the BEST! I just love him more and more everyday. He makes me laugh 'til I cry. He is TOO good at having all my frustrations melt away when he pulls me in close.

Summer time!!

Well, we had SO much FUN while our friends were here! We played Settlers on the day of settlement....we went downtown and watched the fountains....we went swimming....we (Marcie and me) made a synchronized swimming routine....performed the routine......what a rush! Haha! We ate at IN-N-OUT and Cafe Rio. But most of all just enjoyed eachothers company again!! It was great.






And of course I loved getting to know Charlotte! She is so cute and fun.

Adam and I decided to go camping for a night spontaneously! That is something we can enjoy doing while we don't have kids. It was really nice and quiet. It also is like 20 degrees cooler on the mountain, so it felt really good!

Our first attempt at the dutch oven. It was good!

I had my nephews come over and spend the night at my house! We had a lot of fun! We built this fort and had fun playing in it and watching a movie in it. They wanted to do everything under the fort! I love them so much! I don't get much sleep while they are here though...haha. It's mostly my own fault though. I worry about falling asleep and not being able to hear them cry or something, so I just never really fall asleep! I don't know how moms do it!! But I will sacrifice any amount of sleep for them any day!
