pumpkin eater

It's Christmas Time!!!! I am sooooo excited! Ashlynn is really cruising these days and enjoys discovering the Christmas decorations I have been putting out! She pulls herself up on anything she can get a hold of. Adam and I can't resist that little body crawling up our legs...ya just gotta pick her up and love her!! She just enjoys life more as each month goes by. Finally on Thanksgiving she let my mom and dad hold her without crying. YAY!!! Grandma was very thankful for that.

Here is the entertainment unit we did! I love it. I plan on making a planter box to go under the t.v. to help fill in that space.
This is what we had before:
Adam's brother was in town and whipped us up the bottom cubbies! It was awesome! Then we put the towers on top, we bought them off Craigslist. We painted it one color, added the trim and glazed it to give the worn look. It is just what I wanted:)

So, we took some pictures for fall with my sister's camera. Since she is on her mission right now in Spain, I had to ask her if it was ok if we used her camera, haha! That was one of the things she didn't want touched while she was gone. They turned out really cute!
The first set was not the best:) Ashlynn did NOT want to be in that pumpkin! It was a little cold and we forced her to sit in there...haha! poor child. Then she discovered she could chew on it. Game over. Thats all she wanted to do!

This one is a favorite because it is grandpa holding her hand. He was the only one that day that could get a good smile out of her!

I worked hard to get that one! I am grateful for my family! This little girl lights up my life. I am grateful for an amazing husband and best friend. I am grateful for my Savior and His tender mercies. I am grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and the joy it brings to my life.

Happy Halloween!

WELL......I planned on updating the blog long time ago, but you know, things come up! I just can't get enough of my little girl! She is 6 months now! She is crawling and soooooo happy about it. Life is better now that she can have some control......haha! Seriously though, she loves it. She loves to be the boss. Already.

Here are her newborn pics. I was a little disappointed I waited so long to get them done. It was almost impossible to get her sleeping! The very last one she stayed asleep just long enough. Little stinker!

I can't believe how much she has changed already! She just gets cuter and cuter!!
These are the cupcakes I made for the 4th. It was fun! It was so hot though that the fireworks (on the cupcakes) didn't last long!
OH, she LOVES to take pictures!

I made these cupcakes for my nephew's 5th birthday! THey were really fun! See the creeper in the back? We called him angry eyes and that is the one my nephew wanted.....haha! ya never know.

The PUMPKIN PATCH!

We had fun with the family at the pumpkin patch! Ashlynnn hated that we kept trying to lay her on the pumpkins! And I hate that almost all the pics came out fuzzy b/c she never stays still. We will get a better camera soon hopefully. Caden tried to hold her in the pumpkins too!

The dads don't know what to do with the babies besides play ninja but they don't mind!

CRAWLING!!!!!! AHHHHH!
She is such a cute little crawler! She can have tons of toys around her and she wants whatever is sitting on the other side of the room, no matter what it is. She loves to move! The funniest thing and sometimes saddest thing is when she is crying and crawling with her head down and she will look up and lift an arm up towards me and then fall on the ground (VERY dramatically) and cry even more! Oh my goodness! This little girl. She does that every time she sees me holding her cousin Nixon. Drama already.............
Halloween party with our friends from our ward. It was awesome!

We were totally 80's! Adam was Vanilla Ice and even had my brother shave designs in his hair! I wrote ice ice baby on Ashlynn's shirt. And I just did the best I could for my own outfit.

I am blessed!!!

Floors...and a baby!

First of all, I can't get enough of THIS little girl!!!
We found her like this in the car....it was pretty hilarious!
She is just so cute and I want to love on her all day! She LOVES to be held and for the mast part I love to hold her. Is that bad? Will it create problems in the future? I don't know. But I enjoy it! What do you all think? She is a stubborn sleeper. It takes forever to get her to stay asleep without being held. She is spoiled.

BUT, it will be better having her to take pics with rather than this pumpkin this year...haha!!!
Adam brought this harness home from work one day and said I could hook it up to my belt loop when we go shopping so he can't get away....I think it is a GREAT idea! He used to love shopping with me when we were dating, now not so much. I call that false advertising!! just kidding!
Adam has done an AMAZING job with updating our house. Here are some pics of what we have done so far. This is before:

This is during:

This is after:
He is sitting where I usually sat and ordered him around while I was pregnant! He wanted a turn.

It turned out beautiful and it feels like a whole different house. My husband is amazing for doing all that himself for the first time!!!

Just had to add some pics of my cute nephews! They had to move to St. George recently, so I miss being able to see them all the time. They are so cute and fun!

Ok, some more of my little Bug-A-Boo!! I tried to get some cute pics of her sleeping but it didn't happen. She would wake up as soon as I put her down....of course.

This was the day she was blessed. She was just an angel! It was a perfect day. I will put some pics up of her in the dress when I get some. She was beautiful and we enjoyed having everyone there with us. I will tell more when I post the pics.

Daddy loves holding her little hands!!
We are so blessed to have her! SHe is still so small. She only weighs 7lbs 9ozs right now. So the doc says we have to get some weight on her! I am having to supplement a little with formula so we will see if it helps. She is pretty long though! Little stinker!
