Great Grandma and Gallaher Christmas

We also went to Quincy to celebrate Christmas more with Great Grandma and Grandpa Gallaher. Landon tried on Robert's Dale Jr. hat. What a stud.
It was an excellent Christmas this year.

Trapp Christmas

Landon had to get rested up for more Christmas celebrating at Aunt Sue and Uncle Todd's house where we had the Trapp Family gathering. It was a blast. The little kids had a gift exchange, and the adults took turns stealing each other's white elephant gifts.

More Christmas Fun

After we opened presents at our house, we went over to the Gallaher house and celebrated Christmas some more!
We had tons of fun. Landon got all sorts of fun toys, pajamas, and some pretty snazzy Sunday outfits for when he gets to be an even bigger boy! Landon really loved the paper on the presents, and probably would have had a better time with the paper than with the presents if we would have let him keep he paper.

Christmas Celebration!

The moment Landon has been waiting for... his first taste of solid food!

Merry Christmas!
It was so much fun opening presents with little Landon at our house on Christmas morning. We have decided it's time to let him try rice cereal, so he got some for Christmas. He also got some sippy cups and a high chair; it looks like Landon has already got the idea how to use his new sippy cup. This boy has been so anxious to try food, and now he'll get his chance! He'll get to play with plenty of toys too.
Landon and I both got new cell phones! I got one that will no longer be ruined by slobber because now Landon can play with his own. Poor Kendall just got long johns, but now he'll be a toasty mechanic working outside in the snow.
I'm so grateful that we can celebrate Christmas every year and remember the birth or our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Christmas Eve

Lisa and Dan came to visit before Christmas. It was great fun with them home!
We spent Christmas Eve at the Church house. Landon got to open his first present! It was a scripture story book. Mary and Grandpa got tickets to go see the Tran-Siberian Orchestra and Grandma got a knife set that actually cuts! I don't have a picture of it, but this was the best part of all: Ken and I got an emergency 72 hour kit that comes in a bucket. The great part is,when you take everything out of the bucket, there's a toilet seat that clamps on the top just like the lid, and it transforms into an emergency toilet! Ha-ha!
We took a pictures of Landon under the tree on Christmas Eve. He had no idea what Santa had in store for him!

Happy Holidays

It was fun decorating for Christmas this holiday season! Ken and I went to the tree farm and picked out the perfect tree. It was a much more enjoyable event in comparison to last year...We chose too FAT and TALL of a tree. We could barely get the tree into the truck because I couldn't lift that heavy sucker, and Ken was not too thrilled about having to do all of the work by himself...since I was useless. Then, we had to squeeze it through the door of our house so pine needles went EVERYWHERE! Next, we went through 3 different tree stands until we found one strong enough. The others just bent apart and couldn't hold the heavy tree! Also, we had 5 people working together to try and master that tree. We finally got it up, and I must admit that it was a beautiful tree, but this year... even I could lift the tree, so things went smoothly getting it up. It only took the two of us! I am so proud of our tree!
HO HO HO!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Chubby Wubby

I just thought everyone should see Landon's chubby little knees!

GENIUS!

Kendall's grandpa Trapp would always say "Your grandpa's a genius!" Any time Kendall thought some object or anything was cool, Grandpa Trapp would say, "I invented that." Landon is going to grow up to be a genius just like his dad and Great Grandpa Trapp!

Starving Boy

This morning Kendall and I were eating cereal for breakfast. Sometimes when we eat, I hold Landon on my lap because his chair won't satisfy him. Then, he saw Ken tip up his bowl to drink the rest of his milk, and Landon immediately grabbed my bowl to try it too! Luckily I caught him before he dumped it all over us.
Landon is just growing like a weed! Ken and I got him tons of clothes that we were planning on using maybe by Christmas...they were all going to be Christmas gifts, but I'm afraid he might be grown out of them by the time Christmas comes. I figured he had a while, but I guess I was wrong. 12 month sized, and they fit him now!

Little Mozart

Pictures of Our Cutie Pie

Sleepy, silly, chubby...he's just plain adorable!

The Five Month Giggles

Landon turned 5 months old yesterday. I didn't post any pictures. We were busy decorating for Christmas! Well, Landon is such a big boy. He does so many fun things! I love having a little boy in my home! I don't know what I ever did before. We love him to death! Well, this video is kind of long, but so cute of Landon. He loves Wicket the dog and gets so excited when she goes near him. I'm surprised she has the courage, since she's afraid of everything, to go near him. He loves to grab her hair and not let go!
