An Especially Exceptional Day

Today was a big day for Landon. He went to solo and ensemble contest and got a #1 rating! He sounded awesome on his snare drum solo. We are so proud of him!

Then, Landon, Grandpa Church, and I all went to the temple do do baptisms for the dead. It was Landon's first time to go inside the temple. He loved it and can't wait to go back. What a neat day!

Zoie and Brayden can get along and play really well together. Over at Grandma's house, they got to play Play-doh together. Fun, fun!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Oh my goodness! I am just completely spoiled this Valentine's Day. I don't know that I deserve it all. Kendall surprised me this Valentine's Day with the most amazing gift. I mean AMAZING! He surprised me with a new flute! And it is TOP quality. I am so so so excited. I have been dreaming about getting a new one. Mine just isn't responding as well as I would like. It is really quite old; I had it overhauled a year or so ago, but, even so, it just doesn't work as well as I would like it to. I am already addicted to playing on my new Powell flute. 

Along with my flute, Kendall got me the most beautiful roses. They are incredible! I got two of my cute Valentine's to take a picture by them. They are so cute!

On a side note, I am almost 28 weeks pregnant with our little boy. 

Valentine Party Fun

The boys had a good time getting their valentine boxes ready for school. Ethan's was pretty silly. It was a toile, and he wrote "Love stinks" on it. Landon's looked cool. I forgot to get a picture of his. He colored dragon pictures from the book series he is reading and put them on his box. His valentines matched. I was the room parent for Ethan's class again and had fun making treats in the shape of hearts and such. We played lots of minute to win it valentine games. I think everyone had a good time. Sadie had fun too and came home wearing a hat she made at her class party. What cute kids we have!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

 Daddy is 33 years old now! Wow! He sure is one fantastic man. We love him so much and feel like the happiest family alive to have him. We love you! Happy Birthday! It sure was a yummy ice cream cake too!

The Good, The Bad, The Blog

 I had the girls put these t-shirts on, which are pretty awesome. They all say, "Best daughter ever." Unfortunately, Sadie was having some sensory issues and didn't want to put hers on. Then, after a little while, she decided she liked it and wore it all day. 

The most amazing thing happened today, though. I was able to use my Christmas money from my parents to get some more blog books! I only have 2018 to purchase, and I will have them all! Yay! It's the best gift ever. I love the books so so much.
