Who says moms can't jump?

Of course we can we just have to go to the bathroom first. We had our end of the year dance party at Jump On It and Jonie Schaeffer, Kristi John and myself are proof that moms can still jump (they both can still do back flips-I never could do that).

Belated Mothers Day Note

Kevin got me a curio for Mother's Day for my scrapbooks. (Jonie got me started last fall and Kevin once told her that I would do it for maybe 2 weeks. I don't know where that came from but I have completed 19 albums and I think he got sick of tripping over them-hence the beautiful curio.) Today he pulled out the camera and asked me if I wanted to stand in front of it so he could take a picture for me to blog. I don't know where that came from either since he doesn't care one way or the other about blogging and has no interest in what is on our blog. So this is for Kevin who by the way did an awesome job picking out a my Mother's Day gift by himself (it also came with a digital photo frame that I love too.)

Pinewood Derby

Ahhh pinewood derby; I remember hating them as kids when my 5 brothers had to do them and I still hate them. At least Colten had fun. He made his car by himself and did well in his first race with 2nd then the weight that Kevin added on the bottom was not flush so it started rubbing on the track and that was the end of good racing. Did I forget to mention that at the last minute he decided to make it a mouse? The whole time he had these handle bars he was going to attatch to make it a 4 wheeler or motorcycle.

Choir Concert

Savanah and Colten sang in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade combined choir. Last night was their Spring Concert. Both did very well here is a segment from Savanah's solo even though she didn't want me to blog it.

Saturday afternoon hike

We have been so busy lately that it was nice to get a way for a while with the whole family and enjoy time together. An added bonus some long awaited beautiful weather.

Bowling

Bowling league is ending for the year. We had our fun bowl today. Tatum was gone so Steph got to sub with Autumn and I.
