Spring Sports for the Kids

Travis really wanted to play baseball this year, which Mom and Dad were a little confused about.  Did we really want our kids on 3 different teams?  Well, it turned out that we apparently did because that is how it turned out.  This was Travis' first practice and he still  had his broken finger so no glove for him, but still played his best the first few practices.
Trevor decided to play soccer and that turned out to be a great choice for him.  He loves it and loves to go to practice.
Kendra as usual chose to play soccer, and that is a great sport for her.  She plays so well and is really starting to understand the game.  So fun to watch.

Dad has ANOTHER Birthday!

A special day for Dad on his birthday.  The boys brought him lunch and balloons at work.  Later the kids worked so hard on making a special sign for Dad for his birthday party at home.
Kendra helped Mom make the coolest cake in the world.  Yes, Dad likes Mountain Dew a little, so why not give him a cake that looks like a bottle of it.  Mom even caked with mountain dew in the cake, which actually tasted good and moist.
Why not decorate with some throw back dew.

Travis Broke his Finger

Travis is Dad's little helper no matter how big or small the job.  This time, while helping to move firewood, he tripped over an extrension cord and the piece of wood fell right on his finger and smashed it between the wood and the concrete.  Dad wasn't so sure it was broken, but Mom was and so off to the ER we went.  Sure enough it was broken.  He is the toughest little guy that has been through so much each year.  We love your Travis.

Kendra is Citizen of the Month

Kendra earned a much deserved Citizen of the Month award this month and she was very proud as was her Mom!  Your Mom and Dad love you Kendra.
