Our house...

So here is the "catch up" from our house for the last little while. The boys are glad to see warmer weather but still seem to find plenty of mischief to get into inside:) We've been busy with banquets, concerts, farming and whatever else we can find to do it seems like! Enjoy the pictures!

The fiddle is always a favorite to make a little noise with.

This was the first time Clayton has played it, he thought it was quite fun...

Big brother took his turn to show him how it was done.

Some day sooner than later, we'll start "real" lessons for Duncan. He can't wait-

Next up, the "Kindy 500" at school. Each Kindergarten student made themselves a "car" to drive to each location across the country (school) and visit the historical sites. They were assigned a state and we learned about that too. We were supposed to let the kids help with their cars and so Duncan helped paint his and add all the details so he had it looking just like he wanted.

Clayton thought it was great to go to school with big brother. I had to help so he got to come and help too.

They paraded through the gym...

They visited Mt. Rushmore and several places and people in between...

They paraded through the halls...

And then ended with a class picture!
It was fun for the kids and they learned quite a bit about our country and its' important symbols and people.

Innocent? Are you kidding me?

The basketball girls also had their end of year banquet. As you can see, my children just blend right in:)

Duncan and Alexa, having quite the conversation...

Barker and Clayton- he wasn't quite sure about her bubble when it popped. It was the funniest thing to watch! He loves Jessica, just ask him "who loves Barker" sometime and see what his reply is....

Barker, Clayton, Duncan and Pexton
My boys love these girls.

And these girls too.
Alexa, Duncan and Richens

It took about 5 tries to get this one, he would move every time they tried to kiss him but they finally caught him:)

And more girls...

The boys love the basketball team and the girls are equally attached to them.  Needless to say we have endless options for babysitters and we are very grateful for the way the girls treat the boys. Lucky boys I'd say.

We've also done some farming.....

Imagine that, the snow melts and out come the tractors and implements to play in the dirt :)
And then...... there is Bon Jovi!!

We got tickets to this concert for Christmas and have been looking forward to it. How can you not like Bon Jovi?  Richard and I had a great time, good seats and Bon Jovi was absolutely awesome..... They played for 2 1/2 hours- I could not believe how long they played! Lots of fun, and we will definitely go again if we get the chance...

So... while we went to the concert, guess who babysat the boys... None other than Pexton! I think they all had fun and Duncan keeps asking us when we are going out again!

Clayton is just glad to be outside even if it is in just fairly warm weather.
He also likes to love on old Cody. He is so calm and loves to be "loved"

Duncan likes him too. He enjoys riding him and learned how to ride bareback all by himself on Cody last spring. He told me after I took this picture that it was time to get riding again because it was getting warm enough now that it was Spring :) Wishful thinking on the warm part...

Unfortunately though, at some point all things in life eventually end. Ever since my old horse Jake died in November Cody, who like Jake is also 30+ years old, has acted like he was "lost" with out him around. Explanation: Cody is the horse that Stephen rode growing up and I rode Jake. We spent countless hours on our horses together and at 4-H so when I say these two horses were pals, that is an understatement. Even as they have aged and gotten the "spoiled" treatment, they have always been kept together and have never been separated. Funny how that works I guess.
Long story short, the old pals are back together again in
much greener pastures and probably in their prime as well. Have fun boys...

Warmer weather also brings bike rides with Dolly-

And the boys always seem to find the time to visit Grandma and give her ALL the help she needs...

Until next week!! Hope your house is as fun as ours!!!

And... enjoy March Madness!! We are loving it at our house.

Go Kentucky!!
(Since Duke got beat)

Hello March...

Well here is the weekly update from our house :) Lots of fun things going on around the farm and our house as well. We keep thinking that Spring is around the corner but that seems to be wishful thinking- Enjoy the pictures!

Its lambing season for Grandpa so with out fail, there are always a few little lambs to feed on the bottle
Duncan is old enough that he is pretty good at feeding them.
Clayton is still young enough that he gets help
The lambs are Grandma's babies, and her two little helpers think it is great.

Grandma has plenty of help...
My little "men"
Grandma and the boys
I think he is related to his brother...  this boy LOVES the mud and the puddles.
Helping Grandpa on the backhoe and yes, they love being on the tractors.  Just as a side note, Clayton calls EVERY tractor he sees or wants a "bampa"
If you live in Utah you have to cheer for the Jazz, especially when you have great seats! Plus, Duncan thinks the Jazz are great. He loves Andre Kirelenko and the Jazz Bear and enjoys going to the games. We went on Saturday night and they played the Kings. They ended up winning in OT and broke their losing streak, yeah!
Duncan, Clayton and Alex all enjoying the game.
Alex's photography skills at work!
The Fam-
Kecia, Alex and Justin
Outside the arena they have statues of John Stockton and Karl Malone. Richard with the boys in front of Stockton.
And here I am with the boys. I LOVED to watch John Stockton. He is one of my all time favorite basketball players.   The boys thought it was fun sitting up so high!
The boys sitting on "The Mailman" statue.
They both think they are soooo big and unfortunately they are getting big- Whatever big brother does, little brother has to do too- they are quite the pair:)
Grandpa came for dinner and helped dad and the boys put the basketball hoop together in the garage.
The cars hit the garage while the hoop was getting assembled and the boys raced and raced while it rained outside. They were both ALL smiles.
And to cap things off this is how he came out into the front room, dressed all by himself  of course:)
What a little ham...
