Easter and then some...

Wow! Where has the month of April gone? I can't believe it is almost over and off we go to May! Here are a few pictures from our Easter festivities and just "everyday life" at our house. We had lots of fun for Easter with several egg hunts and cook outs, egg coloring and time with cousins. We got a new "baby" on the farm last week and of course hanging out on the farm is always fun, no matter which end of town it is on! Enjoy!

Cousin Ari stopped by our house after the egg hunt at the Pay farm.
Duncan and Ari have always been good little buddies. Here they are headed off to get Pete.

It wouldn't be a Saturday on the farm if my boys didn't get to ride the backhoe with Grandpa Phillips. Notice Duncan in the bucket, his favorite place to ride...

Our boys are spoiled... We have a very special lady/friend that always brings them something for each holiday.
They love Patty and all of her treats and surprises.

And this is the new little guy on the farm.

Duncan holding on with Grandpa

Isn't he the cutest! And yes, he is so little! He is a miniature pony. My Grandpa Bisel had mini ponies. This little mare was one of his. The grandkids enjoy having them around just as much as Grandpa Phillips I think:)

And this little cowboy put his hat on ALL by himself. You couldn't help but laugh. He is getting to be quite the little character.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures and had a wonderful Easter weekend at your house too!

April fun

So we started off April with all sorts of fun! Richard and the boys worked lots of ground for Grandpa Pay and got their own field worked as well and had all of it ready to plant. Richard and I went to the George Strait, Reba and LeAnn Womak concert the day before Richard's birthday and then on his birthday we had dinner and partied for his birthday with good company and hit the ground running for the next week it seems.  Richard and the boys helped Grandpa Phillips move cows at Mills and Richard brought a new calf home that needed a nice "home" to grow at:) In other words, we have a baby calf to feed on the bottle... The boys love him so it is all good. Enjoy the pictures!

The concert

LeAnn Womak
"I hope you dance"

This lady is amazing!! Growing up I always enjoyed singing her songs when we played. I LOVE to see her in concert. She is worth every penny you pay to see her and I could listen to her for hours. She is an entertainer.

Hilarious! That is all you can say. If you have ever watched the show
"Reba" then you know why this whole thing is so funny.

"Fancy"

And then there is George.....

He played for over 2 hours himself. We had never seen him in concert and I was more than impressed.
I have spent who knows how many dollars on his albums and hours listening to his twin fiddles and pure country sound.
He truly is "The King of Country"

You've got to love him...

The whole crew at the concert.
We tend to do things all together - Good thing we get along :)

The Birthday Boy!!

And world's greatest dad too.

Clayton wasn't so sure about all the smoke

Our crazy little family

And... our dinner guests. We had good company.

And here is "Pete" at his new house.
