Yesterday was a great day, especially for Evalie. She spent the day with her cousins that live in St. John, The Lundbergs. She got to jump on the trampoline, which she loved. She got to bang on the drum set, which she really loved. Then she got to watch her cousins dance in their dance recital, which she was enthralled with. She was on my lap dancing away. She would try to do some of the hand motions. After each performance she would make sure to clap. Her clap is so cute. I am so happy she is at the age where she can go play with her cousins without me having to be in the same room. All she needs is a little supervision and she's set. She is such a good little girl. Oh some other updates of her. She fell out of her crib this past week. I painted her fingernails red. She is 20 months old now! And she absolutely loves nursery. Here is a video of her playing the drums.

Bragging Rights
I have some bragging rights today. Here I am blogging and my husband, well he's cleaning the kitchen floor, and not just mopping but on hands and knees scrubbing with a rag. If you know anything about my floor you know that it is quite a task to take on. Then to add delicious toppings to the already wonderful sundae he goes and gets steel wool to clean my spilled-on-one-to-many-times stove trays and stove top. He's scrubbing the cupboards, the refrigerator, underneath my shelving and doing all this while singing to his iPod. He's so particular to detail that I know he is doing a better job than I would. And whats makes this scene better is that I didn't ask him to do one of these things.

Thankfulness
How do you show someone that you are truely thankful for what they have done for you? In the past I have written thank you notes, made cookies, taken them to movies, made dinner for them, done some babysitting for them, and of course said "thank you". What if there is nothing you can actually give them in return, you just need to tell them how thankful you are. What do you say? I am in the predicament at the moment because Jeff got the internship in Coeur d'Alene!!! and we need to thank our Heavenly Father for answering our prayers and guiding our family.
We would also like to thank....
Friends who pray for there friends.
Family who fast and pray for there family members.
Church leaders who pray for the welfare of there ward.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

One horrible night...
Tonight, just like every Saturday night, I worked at the theatre in Pullman. Tonight, I knew was going to be a crazy night because Watchmen is out. Little did I know that tonight people were not going to be happy when they came to their movie. People were yelling, screaming, being difficult, and just plain rude. All of us at work felt like we had just been slapped in the face. So we got ice cream to comfort our weary spirits. I don't know why everyone was so out of sorts, but my advice on anything is that if you are unhappy about the way something is turning out, throwing a temper-tantrum is not how you are going to get your way, but rather stating the problem and trying to find a solution, not placing blame or making it out to be a bigger deal than it is. And sometimes in life circumstances make it so that sometimes you get crapped on. So come to grips with that and move on, you'll spend a whole lot less time being mad and a lot more time enjoying your movie.
