Our Baby is 1!

I know it has taken me forever to get birthday pictures posted. I knew I needed to get on the ball after a couple of requests for birthday pics. Retarded me was having some trouble with the new format on blogger, half of the issue was not having the time to sit and figure out the new way to do things. Anyway, thank you Becca for setting me straight. :)
Olivia turned 1 on November 14,..... unbelievable! She had a fun birthday with family and was super excited about eating her cake (as we knew she would be)! We are so glad that Bryan, Becca and Julianne got to come, and that Uncle Jarod and Aunt Laura were able to drive up from Houston. (of course, Papaw and Gram were here too!)Thanks for helping us celebrate Olivia’s 1st year!
We have a busy and short December and are glad the winter is finally here. I opened the blinds so I could watch the snow fall as I’m working. I’m sure it’ll be 80 again tomorrow, but we’re enjoying it while we can. The girls and I are leaving in a couple of weeks to visit family in Chicago and then Tim will meet us up there for Christmas. We can’t wait to experience true winter for a while!
In case I don’t post again before then, have a Merry Christmas!

Mamaw and Papaw Mo gave Olivia a fleece warm up suit that will be great for our trip to Chicago.

We were quite the proud parents that Olivia blew her candle out all by herself!

Soooooo Big!

Olivia had her first trip to the ER. She's all smiles in her hospital gown that has baby elephants, dinosaurs and whales all over it and says, "Sooooo big!".

One October Night

Our church had its second annual Fall festival called One October Night. I am really proud of the costumes I made for the girls, we dressed them up as Winnie the Pooh and Piglet. Katelynn has had so much fun as Winnie and we’ve unanimously decided that Piglet is a perfect match for Olivia! It’s fun to watch how much fun Katelynn has at things like this. She played games and loved the bounce house. Like in the picture of her tossing the bean bag, you can tell that she didn’t put her candy down for anything!

Pumpkin Farm

We took a trip last week to a pumpkin farm nearby. We had fun even though the girls weren’t feeling very good. We tried to crack a couple of smiles out of Olivia, but didn’t get much response. We’ve all been battling colds and allergies. Katelynn had to get a breathing treatment last week so we’ll not tell Dr. Breeze we spent the day at the Pumpkin Farm with the wind, hay, animals etc. Being a kid is just no fun sometimes! We got to feed cows and goats, and the girls got to pick out their own pumpkin from the patch. It was so fun!

Six Flags Over Texas

Tim’s company picnic was at Six Flags this weekend. Katelynn still needs to grow a couple of inches before she can ride most of the rides, but the few she did get to ride were quite an experience! We were thankful for the nice weather and enjoyed the family time together.
