13 Weeks

Benjamin went swimming for the first time yesterday. He was so good and just sat back in his float the whole time. We went to Noah's Ark Play Pool in Houston and it was perfect for kids my kids age. The water is only about 10 inches deep and it has a big Noah's Ark in it with water that sprays from the animals and some slides. It is a ministry of First United Methodist Church in Houston and we all had a blast!

11 Weeks

Isn't this just the cutest baby you've ever seen?!
Benjamin's not a huge fan of the Bumbo seat yet. I'm sure he'll love it in about a month when his neck is a little stronger to hold his head straight. He's such a wonderful baby! We're so thankful for his 9 hours of sleep at night and his wonderful disposition. Thumb vs. pacifier is still a toss up, but both will do for now! Benjamin doesn't ever fuss unless he's hungry, tired or needs a clean diaper. He has developed a sweet affection for Katelynn. She doesn't have to do anything but walk up to get a smile that goes ear to ear! We love you so much Benjamin!

Sea World

Ok, so lot's of you think we're crazy(probably due to the fact that we have a 2 month old), but we bought season tickets to Sea World this year! :) We took our first trip and it was a blast! Benjamin did great and was so relaxed about being sweaty all day long. The rest of us had fun seeing the shows and all the animals. School wasn't out yet so the crowd was very minimal. We'll go back in August to go to the water park and can't wait! We had a great time and it was so fun to be away with just our family.
The whole crew!

My favorite part of the whole trip was getting to feed and touch the dolphins. It was so amazing to be so close to them and to watch the girls excitement and apprehension at being close enough to touch them. We bought some little fish to feed them and stayed to just watch them swim around and bob up and down in front of us for about 2 hours.

We were all amazed at what they could train a killer whale to do...and that they trusted it!

Benjamin's idea of watching the dolphins and beluga whale!

10 Weeks

We missed last week, busy on our trip to Sea World! Benjamin is growing so much, 14 pounds now! We had a great time at Sea World and he was such a trooper in the heat - pictures of that to come. As you can see, Benjamin is dropping the pacifier for the thumb now (notice the pacifier on the floor that he spit out) so we're busy trying to switch the thumb for the pacifier as much as we can. We'll see what happens!
