Olivia's 3rd Birthday!

It's so hard to believe that Olivia is 3! She is such a joy to our family. Olivia had a wonderful birthday this year, celebrating with family. We went to a pizza/game place on her birthday to celebrate. She enjoyed playing the games and opening presents. She also liked sitting in the movie room watching Shrek 3. We had a small party for her at home where she got to open more presents and have cake. She finally decided on a butterfly birthday after months of saying she wanted a "winnie the zebra" birthday. (which came from her conversation with Katelynn in the back seat of the car about wanting a Winnie the Pooh and a zebra birthday - that was their compromise) We weren't sure how we'd pull that one off, so were glad when she decided on butterflies. We love you so much Olivia!

News Update!

We have another addition to our family that will be here at the end of March! We're all really excited to have another baby. The girls have been amazing to let me be a little less than helpful to them over the last few months, and Tim has been more than amazing at taking over many/all of the things I would normally do. This has been a tough pregnancy, but we think we're finally getting out of the sick part so that is a MUCH welcomed time for ALL of us. Everything is going well and we'll be able to find out what the sex is next month. Our votes are all divided on what we want the baby to be, so we'll see who's right! Katelynn wants a boy, Olivia wants a girl, Tim and I don't 'strongly' care either way - we just pray that it's healthy!

October 2007

October doesn't bring the nice, cool, Fall weather to Houston like it does everywhere else in the world, but things are beginning to cool off a bit and we've enjoyed that tremendously! We love to be outside and it's so nice to have a break from the heat. Katelynn started preshool last month and is really enjoying that. She loves her teachers and is learning a lot already. I was worried about Olivia being upset that she couldn't go to school too, but she goes to "Kinderprayer" once a week and that seems to be sufficient for her. She learns a Bible verse and her favorite part is praise and worship. She's the only girl in her class of about 6 boys, so her teachers love to have her around and she get's quite spoiled!

Olivia loves babies and plays with them nearly all day long! We brought the car seat in to get it washed up and Olivia found her new favorite spot!

We have 3 pecan trees in our backyard. We had fun collecting pecans and counting them. We're surprised we managed getting some before the squirrels did, and still ended up with over 300! (Now we need someone to crack them all for us!)

Katelynn's first day of Preschool!

I walked in on Katelynn reading the newspaper with Papaw before church. It was so cute and one of those moments you think, "I couldn't gave gotten her to do that if I tried."

Grandparents!

Tim's parents got to come and visit several times throughout this month. We are so thankful for them taking time out of their busy schedule to come see us and spend time with our girls. The girls had fun getting to be with them and do fun things.
Grandma likes reading books to the girls, and of course they love to listen!

We even played outside and endured the heat and mosquitos for a few minutes!

Family

Tim's brother and his family came to visit us all the way from Chicago for a few days. We had so much fun with them and the girls loved getting to spend time with their cousins! Thank you Nathan and Larissa for coming to see us and spend a few days. It meant so much to all of us for you to be here! We love you!

We went to the childrens museum and these are our princesses!

We had so much fun at one of those Bounce places! The girls wore themselves out running, sliding, jumping and climbing. They also had other areas for playing house, playing with stuffed pets, etc. It was a great day with family!

This is our new house!!

June 2007

Our new home: Houston, Texas on a rainy day.

Gram Camp!

We had "Gram Camp" last week. ALL of our husbands were out of town (except for Jarod's change in plans) so we went to visit Gram. Here she is with all the grandkids!

To the playground!

I got to have dinner with my dearest friends/roommates from A&M while visiting my parents last week. I love you girls and feel so blessed by your friendship and the way you spur me on in my faith. This is Olivia with Rebecca's boys, Wil and Ben. [Katelynn opted to stay with Gram, so she's not in any of the pictures :( ]

Wil and Olivia. Won't this be cute in their wedding video?!

Ben was posing for us!

Ben, just because he's so darn cute!!

May 2007

The mural I painted in Katelynn's room. She wanted a "princess room" so we did our best to make her feel like royalty, a child of The King! It's not quite finished, but I've had lots of requests to see pictures, so here it is for now.

Tim celebrated his birthday!

Katelynn, Olivia, Luke, Nana and Papa. The kids great grandparents at our house. The rocker Olivia is sitting in used to be Nana's when she was a little girl!

April 2007

I couldn't pass this one up! This is a bunny rabbit sucker that Olivia fell asleep with in her mouth! .....and they think kids falling asleep with a bottle in their mouth is bad...... :)

Moving Day from Sherman!

We finally closed on our house in Sherman the last day of April! We got our new house on May 4 in Houston! We are getting settled and will post some pictures of the new house soon. We've been doing lots of work to it and have enjoyed the results.

March 2007

Our final days in Sherman, Texas!
For those of you who don't know, it looks like we're spending the last couple of weeks in our house!! We are sad, but more than that, we're happy to get settled in Houston. We've lived "in-between" for almost 4 months and are anxious to be able to buy a new house now and have a place to call our own again. My sister and brother-in-law have been more than gracious to let us live with them during this time and we feel so blessed by their generosity. We pray God's blessings on them and their family for their giving!

We are in the 10-day option period on our house and supposed to close by the end of the month (March)! Please pray for us that this would be a smooth process. We have also found a house in Houston and are in negotiations. Please pray that we would listen to God for His guidance.

February 2007

These cows have been our neighbors for the last 3 1/2 years! The girls have loved watching them and we've loved the feel of the countryside.

January 2007

The lap top crew!! We got to see Tim's parents for the weekend. I'm sure we have more pictures somewhere, so as soon as I figure out where they are I'll put better ones up. We had a great time with them at the Morrisey's lakehouse and were glad to get to see them. The girls have so much fun with their Grandma and Grandpa!

December 2006

Christmas cookies are a fun tradition from Tim's family. We had so much fun making and decorating cookies. Hopefully we'll get better next year!

We spent Christmas with the Camp family in Frisco this year. It was so fun having everyone together. We also got to be with my Dad's whole family later that day, so we had tons of fun with family this year!
