Friday, April 2nd - Cosmo's 3rd birthday (first birthday with us)!
Kellen cut out a new piece of red fleece for him to cuddle and Jenna bought some live meal worms that they enjoyed feeding him for a special treat. We also colored Easter eggs while facetiming with Grandpa and Grandma (I forgot to take pictures).
Saturday, April 3rd - I had to work, but made it home in time to watch the end of the best game of the NCAA basketball tournament - Gonzaga vs UCLA. Amazing game, so fun to watch!

Sunday, April 4th - A rare Easter without coats! It was in the 70s!

Kellen was the only one who really wanted to hunt eggs this year, but Madilyn and Grant graciously joined.
Warm enough for a water balloon battle!!
So much fun!
And, our snow mountain from March 14th melted! I really thought it would be there until May! (Picture taken April 5th.)
Wednesday evening, April 7th - Kellen had a runny nose, so we had to keep him home the rest of the week. He got really creative and made an action figure complete with movable limbs out of paper!
And, he wanted a picture posing just like his action figure. Ha! Jenna ended up getting Kellen's cold, too. So, everyone was doing school from home again for a while.
Thursday, April 15th - A snowy morning. Finally, everyone able to go back to school!
Friday, April 16th - Snowy morning. So nice to have a 2 hour delay!
Friday evening - A special treat to stay at Glen Eyrie for a working retreat with my new job.
It's so beautiful at Glen Eyrie!
We worked a lot, accomplished some things, planned for more, and then celebrated all of our birthdays at tea!
Saturday, April 17th - After returning from my retreat, we ventured out to our new Scheels store.
Amazing aquarium!
Amazing taxidermy animals
Weird John Elway and President Lincoln animatronics. Scheels is quite an experience!
Friday, April 23rd - No school for Kellen, so we headed to the zoo! It was a beautiful, crisp day.
Penguins - always a favorite
The new hippo area is just so fun!
It was a two thumbs up kind of day! Back home in time to drop off books at the library and head to piano lessons.
Friday evening, April 23rd - We enjoyed listening to Jenna's Pikes Peak Middle School Honor Band compiled performance - "Call of the Wild."
Saturday, April 24th - I worked a 12 hour shift while Kevin and the kids did some school projects and some home projects. Kellen made a laser maze in his room!
