We went for a walk in the animal park and found this sign right in the middle of our sledding path. Garrison demonstrated what sledding will be like next time.

Thursday, June 2nd - First fort is built - must officially be summer!

Friday, June 3rd - Jenna had fun shopping with Aunt Heather and Madilyn.

Saturday, June 4th - Kevin and Kellen created the garden that Kellen had been dreaming of for a few years.

Sunday, June 5th - Kevin and Grant played golf and Jenna drove the golf cart for driving practice.

Monday, June 6th - Kellen went off to camp and Jenna spent the week helping with VBS at Eastside. Kevin and I enjoyed a couple dinners and Top Gun Maverick.

June 13 week - VBS at our church. Crazy hair day! Meanwhile, I was supposed to work in NICU, but didn't, had a laundry and groceries day, taught a class one day, went to lunch with friends a couple days. One of the lunches with my friend Sonya - we were the very first customers of the Heart of Jerusalem's new location! We also took the kids to see Top Gun Maverick this week.

Friday, June 17th - Kevin and Kellen made a delicious egg bake, piano lessons, and we spent time getting Jenna ready to go to camp. After she was off to the Keetons, we went to Scheels and Kellen tried bowling.

Saturday, June 18th - We spent some time at Papa and Mima's house. Jenna made it to Texas for a crazy week of camp!

While Jenna was at camp . . . Sunday, June 19th - Father's Day. I had to work half the day. Kevin and Kellen played mini golf with Papa and Mima. Kevin made 3 holes in one and 2s on every other hole!

Monday, June 20th - Linoleum removal day! Preparation for new vinyl floors.

Tuesday, June 21st - Ice cream with Magic Shell for breakfast!

And then, fun at Air City 360!

I worked on Wednesday June 22nd. Thursday, June 23rd - fun at Springs Adventure Park and Thursday night dinner.

More fun after camp - Jenna went with the Keetons to Gatesville to celebrate Garrison's graduation with Keeton family.

Sunday, June 26th - an unusually cool day - high of 55 and rainy! Made chicken noodle soup and chocolate chip cookes!

Monday, June 27th - A little more fun before Jenna came home. Top Golf in the morning. Visiting Papa and Mima in the afternoon - checking out the effects of the rain storms!

Tuesday, June 28th - Happy to have Jenna home! Kevin and Jenna hiked Mount Herman in preparation for Mount Elbert.

Kellen and I went to Focus and watched the Tuesday movie Prince of Egypt and did the 4th of July scavenger hunt. Tuesday evening, Kevin and Jenna went with Geremy and Garrison to watch a DCI competition at the movie theater.

We enjoyed some cool June evenings on the deck.

Wednesday, June 29th, afternoon - Kevin and Jenna went to see Temple of Doom in the movie theater.

Wednesday, June 29th, evening - Summer Bucket List - Flying W Ranch!

We had a lot of fun enjoying all the activities on the beautiful grounds before dinner.

Another bucket list item - hatchet throwing! I didn't know they had this until we arrived and they told us everything we could do before dinner. I've been wanting to try ax throwing for a while, and perhaps hatchet throwing is a bit different, but it's so fun! I hit and stuck the target several times! And, while we were there, Kevin got the call that he was chosen to be the new band director at Discovery Canyon Campus High School. Really good news for him.
