graycardamon for encouraging my muse with that little suggestion).
Note that this is written in a bit of a style different from what I normally write. It's got more a "stream of consciousness" feel to it. I don't know why, but that's how the characters dictated it to me, so that's how I wrote it.

First, a Transient Reality update: I'm done with Part 9. I'm not liking it much, at all. It really kind of staggers in the middle and then moves back in with the flow. I'm considering taking the first half and making it Part and then trying to clean up and work with the other part as Part 10. It will make for a short Part 9, but trying to keep it all together just isn't making me jump for joy.
So, one way or another, expect Part 9 of Transient Reality out sometime this weekend.

So, rather than try to write an incredibly long story that will take too much time away from Transient Reality, I am going to approach this one as short stand-alone pieces. (Short being a relative word with me)
