Background [ ] On April 1, 2023, the mini album's release date, title, and format were revealed through an official announcement made via IVE's official Japanese Twitter account.[ 1]
Commercial Performance [ ] On June 6, 2023, Oricon Chart reported that the mini album had sold 92,000 copies within its first week of release, therefore earning IVE their first-ever #1 work on the chart.[ 2] Wave was certified Gold by the RIAJ for surpassing 100,000 copies sold on the Oricon Chart.[ 3]
