“From My Closet To You,” my stand-alone narrative essay series weaving fashion and heart, has successfully completed Season 1.

Launching my essay series here for the first time and starting an Instagram account have been a lot of fun, and I’ve learned so much. That said, the schedule has been pretty tight…haha! Since I do everything myself—writing, translating into English, shooting, and designing Instagram photos…
So, I’ll take an off‑season to prepare for the next season.
But that doesn’t mean I’ll be doing nothing on this platform! I’ve prepared some fashion-related articles that have a different feel from the series.
These are the kinds of articles I can only create in the off-season, along with some I actually wanted to work on during the season. I’ll be posting them in order. You don’t need to know me or the series to enjoy them!! Just like the series, each article can be read on its own.
And over on Instagram, I’ll keep posting my outfits, while also planning posts that tie in with the Season
1 stories.

I’ll be sharing tips and tricks for taking outfit photos by yourself. This article is for anyone who wants to shoot fashion snaps or is thinking about giving it a try.

This article is about retouching that can make your outfit photos look more appealing. I’ll be sharing simple photo editing basics for beginners.

Fashion snaps are everywhere, from social media to magazines. In this article, I’ll share how to look at them not just to browse, but to use them in your own outfits.

The outfits and items that appeared in Season 1, from Ep.1 to Ep.7, will be discussed with a focus on styling. I’ll also share fashion snapshots I’ve taken myself.

From my experience writing about fashion, I’ll explain what I know about creating content on this platform. This article will also cover some things you should know when communicating your own content and information to others.
◆Fashion ＆Creating Works: from Hilda’s Voice
So far, I’ve posted “Afterword –Hilda's Voice–” as a companion note for each piece. Drawing on those notes, I’ll discuss how I create fashion-themed short stories, including the techniques and some behind-the-scenes details.
◆ Fashion ＆ Nrarative Essays: Looking Back on Season 1
I’ll be looking back on Season1 and introducing each piece along the way. At the end, there’ll also be a little about the next season.
When the start of the new season gets closer, there’ll be another announcement. I’ll continue to offer this world of “fashion” and “words” to you.
