Tourism: I grew up during a time when hoards of tourists used to pour onto the Island everyday my family ran a restaurant in Ryde and we lived well, but by the end of the 70’s this heyday had all but gone we now need more focused tourism facilities especially ones that cater for the higher spending clients as well as the bucket and spade so we reach a more diverse visitor, I would propose an Island Tourism Review as part of MPs Community Commission so we can have an integrated plan for the future especially for out of season tourism, those only employed during the season can have quite a bleak winter almost every year.
