Welcome to usshood_1703a, an RP community for the crew of the U.S.S. Hood under the command of Capt. Morgan Lefler.

This a Trek reboot-era community, starting more than a year after the events that took place in the movie, during which the original Hood was destroyed. One of Starfleet's new ships already being built at the time was rechristened as that ship's successor and is the focus of this community.

Ship's Rules
  1. This is a community focused on the ongoing missions of the Hood, not the Enterprise. As such, muses admitted to the comm will either be a crew member of the Hood or their off-ship significant others/close friends (anyone who might have ongoing interaction with a someone in the crew).

  2. All muses must be approved after filling out a short application. The link can be found in the next section.

  3. All muses and muns must be over the age of 18 please as there will be adult content.

  4. No drama mongering and/or trolling will be tolerated. Everyone is an adult here, so please act like it. If there is a problem between you and another muse/mun, please either deal with it off the comm or contact mlefler_no1 through PM for assistance if needed. The mods hold the right to remove any trouble-makers from the comm as needed.

  5. Only one version of a muse/character will be admitted to join the comm for ease of RP. This will be done on a first come/first served basis. There will be no posting requirements, but we do ask if you no longer wish to play a character, you let a mod know so we can decide whether a replacement is necessary.

  6. RP is open in terms of characters' personal storylines and their duty shifts - muses can post their own threads for others to respond to. The current mission/location of the ship will be kept up-to-date above for reference. However, any storylines that might affect the ship as a whole must be cleared through the mods.

  7. No godmodding. This means no killing other characters without permission, no taking over the ship (Morgan will fire you out the torpedo tube if you do), and no otherwise making decisions that would radically alter the ship were it to be played out. Only the mods may make those sort of decisions regarding the ship.

  8. Sometimes, there will be threads that will involve the whole of the crew - a mission, an event, etc. These will be posted by a member of the Senior Staff.

  9. Smut threads are allowed; however, these threads must be marked as [Adult] in the subject line and locked.
