Resource Planning
Overview
In 2023, Connexus Energy published our first resource plan as an independent utility following our transition on Jan. 1, 2023, from GRE member to GRE customer. In 2026, we are developing a new long-term plan to meet our future resource needs. This resource plan looks 15 years ahead, from 2027 to 2041, to identify how we will meet the evolving energy needs of our members. By regularly evaluating and updating our resource plan, we ensure we are well-positioned to deliver safe, reliable and affordable electricity to Connexus members.
Powering what’s next for our members
The Connexus Energy 2026 Resource Plan incorporates the latest information on member demand, market conditions, and state and federal policy, along with input from our members and stakeholders. Through iterative forecasting and scenario analysis, this plan identifies the timing and mix of resources needed to serve our membership cost-effectively and responsibly over the coming decades.
