We did one last trip to the lake before school started this last weekend. Chad's dad came down and we took him out with us. Chad and I are so excited, all three girls learned to waterski. They had already learned kneeboarding so it was fun to see them challenged a bit. They loved it. It took the twins about 3 tries. Madi it took a few more but she loved it and was determined to do it. Grandpa Bernie was talked into going for a tube ride. I hope he enjoyed it, the kids loved having him down to experience it.
I couldn't resist this funny face of Paige's

The kids all woke up bright and early this morning excited for school. (a few even woke up way to early). I can't believe how fast summer flew by, I didn't even really have a chance to start wishing school would start. Isaah is the big man on campus now since he is in 5th grade, he couldn't wait to get to school and play. Madi is so excited, she has the same teacher she had for kindergarten and the room is decorated like a jungle and is amazing. Talli and Paige started at 8am asking when it was time to go to school, poor things they had to wait until 12:30. I took them to McDonalds to pass the time and celebrate them going to kindergarten. They are in the same class and sooo excited, I think they might be disappointed by how short their stay is.

crafts
I would love to spend my time crafting, sewing or baking goodies. Though we all know that real life doesn't seem to let that happen. I was lucky enough to get these two done this week. Both of them are sooooo easy.
This one is a skirt for Madi I made out of her old holey jeans, I made another one for her that has freid edges on the bottom of the skirt. They only take about an hour each to do. She is so excited about both of them
This was suppose to get done in ID while I was visiting friends but kids didn't cooperate. I can't wait todo more. It was so easy, a little scrapbook paper, modpodge, paint and left over shop wood.

lego
I went to download my pictures today and I realized my camera had been hijacked sometime this week. Here is Isaah's creation that he thought worthy of pictures.

Navajo Lake
We went camping a few weeks ago for a short trip up to Navajo Lake. It was a spur of the moment trip and was very short. Jody and Colby drove down and went with us. We found out that we love it up there. Mid 70's, lots of green and plenty to keep the kids busy. They were able to fish, hike and play in the water. One of the favorite things was an ice cave. You climb down some rocks and you are in a cave that is about 30 degrees colder and has snow and ice in it. The kids thought it was so cool (except Madi, she was afraid to go down).
The girls had about 10 baby ducks they were trying to get close to. They were feeding them sunflower seeds.
Playing in the creek and fishing
